Donald Bartels
Donald Bartels, 64, of Las Vegas died March 14 in Las Vegas. He was born Jan. 29, 1937, in Illinois. A resident for 24 years, he was a retired maintenance man.
He is survived by one son, John Bartels of Nevada; one daughter, Barbra Bammer, and one sister, Louise Lundquist, both of Las Vegas.
Hites Funeral Services, 438 W. Sunset Road, Henderson, is handling arrangements.
Dolores Elaine Carlson
Dolores Elaine Carlson, 69, of Las Vegas died Wednesday in Las Vegas. She was born Feb. 7, 1932, in Illinois. A resident for three years, she was a secretary in the computer industry.
She is survived by two sons, Michael Carlson and Thomas Carlson; two sisters, Lenora and Sandra Colzow; two brothers, Donald Switzer and Gene Switzer; and two grandsons.
Desert Memorial Cremation and Burial Society, 1111 Las Vegas Blvd. North, is handling arrangements.
William Kyle Dyer Jr.
William Kyle Dyer Jr., 67, of North Las Vegas died Wednesday. He was born Aug. 23, 1933, in Grand Junction, Colo. A resident for 25 years, he was a retired health physics technician.
He is survived by his wife, Sandy; one son, Travis Dyer, and one daughter, Tracy Dyer, both of Las Vegas; one sister, Marie Macom of Grand Junction; and two grandchildren.
Affordable Cremation and Burial Service, 2457 N. Decatur Blvd., is handling arrangements.
Joseph Gilbert Gignac
Joseph Gilbert Gignac, 80, of Las Vegas died Wednesday in Las Vegas. He was born Aug. 7, 1920, in Bay City, Mich. A resident for 15 years, he was an aerospace engineer for McDonnell Douglas, a World War II Army veteran and a member of the Knights of Columbus.
He is survived by his wife, Kathleen Bigness Gignac of Las Vegas; one daughter, Marjorie Ghobadi of Laguna Hills, Calif.; and one stepson, Gary Murphy Grande; one sister, Mary Florence Bamford of San Diego; three grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
Visitation is scheduled 6-9 p.m. today with a 7:30 p.m. rosary in Davis Paradise Valley Funeral Home, 6200 S. Eastern Ave. Services will be 10:30 a.m. Saturday in St. Viator's Catholic Church, 2461 E. Flamingo Road. Burial will be in San Diego.
Dorothy Yvonne Grover
Dorothy Yvonne Grover, 63, of Las Vegas died March 23 in Las Vegas. She was born Sept. 7, 1937, in Kittanning, Pa. A resident for 35 years, she was a homemaker.
She is survived by her husband, Jerry; two sons, Kevin Orr Grover and Mark Allen Grover, both of Henderson; two brothers, Paul Wolfe of Pennsylvania and George Wolfe of Florida; two sisters, Babe Thomas of Ohio and Peggy Pollock of Michigan; and two grandchildren.
A memorial service will be 1 p.m. Monday in Bunkers Mortuary, 925 Las Vegas Blvd. North.
Edward Lee Guy
Edward Lee Guy, 63, of Tampa, Fla., died Sunday. He was born Oct. 28, 1937, in Bladen County, N.C. A former Las Vegas resident, he was a real estate investor, founded Multi-Chek Systems Inc., was an Army veteran and a member of MENSA.
He is survived by one son, Stacy L. Guy of Alpharetta, Ga.; one brother, Vernon C. Guy of Florence, S.C.; and one sister, Doris Guy Dickens of Nashville, N.C.
A memorial service date in Tampa is pending. Bowling Funeral Home & Crematory, 661 English Road, Rocky Mount, N.C., is handling arrangements.

Alexander 'Alika' Jarrett
Alexander "Alika" Jarrett, 62, of Las Vegas died Thursday in a local hospital. He was born April 12, 1938, in Honolulu. A resident for 30 years, he retired from the Golden Nugget and the MGM Grand as a floor supervisor.
He is survived by his wife, Lois Ostunio-Jarrett; four daughters, Tammy Lee Wysocki of Caldwell, N.J., Veronica Kawal of Oak Hills, Calif., Alexandria Jarrett of Glendale, Calif., and Joanne Tarchini of Las Vegas; one son, John Ostunio Jr. of Las Vegas; his father, Alexander "Papa" Rego, and one brother, Lowell Rego, both of Kailua, Hawaii; two sisters, Marylouise Awana of Costa Mesa, Calif., and Alexis Rego of Kailua; nine grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
Visitation is scheduled 11 a.m. until 3 p.m. services Saturday in Palm Mortuary, 1600 S. Jones Blvd.

Jimmy Lee
Jimmy Lee, 76, of Las Vegas died Tuesday in a local hospital. He was born Jan. 25, 1925, in Hong Kong. A resident for 35 years, he was a retired cook and a member of Culinary 226.
He is survived by his wife; one son, Jonathan Lee of Las Vegas; several brothers and sisters; and nine grandchildren.
Graveside services will be 1 p.m. Saturday in Woodlawn Cemetery. Palm Mortuary, 1600 S. Jones Blvd., is handling arrangements.
Candy S. Lindsey
Candy S. Lindsey, 44, of Las Vegas died Saturday in Las Vegas. She was born Jan. 24, 1957, in Bountiful, Utah. A resident for two years, she was a mining draftsman.
She is survived by her husband, Vincent E.; her father, Dale Terry of Oregon; two brothers, Dale Terry of Idaho and Chris Terry of Utah; and three sisters, Chaleh Reed of Saudi Arabia, Dilaun Terry of Virginia and Lois Hanson of Washington state.
A memorial service will be 10 a.m. Saturday in Davis Paradise Valley Funeral Home, 6200 S. Eastern Ave. Burial will be private. American Burial and Cremation Services, 310 Foremaster Lane, is handling arrangements. A second memorial service will be held in Libby, Mont., at a later date.

Georgia L. Mobley
Georgia L. Mobley, 83, of Las Vegas died Wednesday in a local hospice. She was born Aug. 31, 1917, in McMinnville, Tenn. A resident for one year, she was a homemaker.
She is survived by one son, Gene Mobley of Albuquerque, N.M.; two daughters, Aneta Mobley of Phoenix and Kay Whitaker of Las Vegas; 11 grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.

Wang Hua L. Mou
Wang Hua L. Mou, 77, of Las Vegas died Saturday in a local hospital. She was born Sept. 20, 1923, in China. A resident for 10 years, she was a retired teacher.
She is survived by one son, Robert B.G. Mou of Las Vegas.
Services will be 11 a.m. Saturday in Holy Family Catholic Church, 4490 Mountain Vista St. Burial will follow in Palm Valley View Memorial Park. Palm Mortuary, 7600 S. Eastern Ave., is handling arrangements.
Thomas B. Spindler
Thomas B. Spindler, 75, of Las Vegas died Thursday in a local hospice. He was born May 3, 1925, in Minnesota. A resident for seven years, he was an operations manager in the pharmacy business and a Navy veteran.
He is survived by his wife, Lorraine; one son, Dale Spindler; one daughter, Lynda Warner; his father, James Albert Spindler; his mother, Jean Summerville-Spindler; eight grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.

Toni C. Spratt
Toni C. Spratt, 64, of Las Vegas died Saturday in Las Vegas. She was born Feb. 25, 1937, in Las Vegas. A lifelong resident, she was a retired hotel controller.
She is survived by one son, Robert A. Spratt of Las Vegas; one sister, Judy Dougherty of Henderson; and one grandson.
Visitation was scheduled 1 p.m. until 3 p.m. services today in Palm Mortuary, 1325 N. Main St. Burial followed in Palm Memorial Park.
Donnel V. Stark
Donnel V. Stark, 92, of Las Vegas died Tuesday in Las Vegas. He was born March 19, 1909, in Delight, Ark. A resident for 40 years, he was a retired aircraft cook, owned a refrigeration business 1944-1949, was a 32nd degree Mason and member of Masonic Lodge 37 in Boulder City for 50 years and was an honorary member of Fleet Reserve Association Bonanza Branch 90. He moved to Pittman in January 1942 where he served as chairman of the board, helped name some of the streets and built a home in Pittman that still stands today.
He is survived by one son, Donnel C. Stark of Las Vegas; one daughter, D. Loretta Roberts of Chula Vista, Calif.; two sisters, Martha Compton of Dallas and Estellen Jestor of Gillam, Alaska; six grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren and three great-great-grandchildren.
Visitation is scheduled 1-5 p.m. Saturday in Palm Mortuary, 1325 N. Main St. Services will be 2 p.m. Sunday in Palm Chapel, Main. Burial will follow in Palm Memorial Park.
The family suggests donations to Shriners Children's Hospital, Zelzah Shrine Temple, 2222 W. Mesquite Ave., Las Vegas, NV 89106.
Zula J. Wolfram
Zula J. Wolfram, 65, of Las Vegas died Wednesday in Las Vegas. She was born Sept. 29, 1935, in Marietta, Ind. A resident for 18 years, she was a homemaker.
She is survived by her husband, Edward P. Jr.; two sons, Edward "Fritz" Wolfram III of Grand Rapids, Ohio, and Ian Wolfram of St. Paul, Ind.; two daughters, Paula Nemeth and Roxanne Matthews, both of Las Vegas; her mother, Marjorie Lutes of St. Paul; 13 grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
A memorial service will be 10 a.m. Saturday in Affordable Cremation and Burial Service, 2457 N. Decatur Blvd.
