StumbleDaschle idea for tax cut sure beats Bush’s

I like Sen. Tom Daschle's proposal to lower the bottom income tax bracket from 15 percent to 10 percent. This would put an extra $600 in every taxpayer's pocket.
It is the best proposal thus far. It gives the nonrich a much-needed tax break. And it prevents the rich from getting a huge tax cut, which President Bush's proposal permits.
