UNLV sixth after first two rounds of tourney

Just over par was a good enough score on Monday as the UNLV men's golf team placed sixth after the first two rounds of the Cleveland Golf Morris Williams Intercollegiate tournament in Austin, Texas.
Only two teams in the 15-school field remained under par on the Austin Country Club Course. Top-ranked Georgia Tech, which won the Las Vegas Intercollegiate just two weeks ago, leads at three-under par, one stroke ahead of Oklahoma State.
All of the other schools were even par or higher through two rounds, including UNLV at seven-over.
