BASEBALL
Chaparral 12, Western 2: Teter Moran went 2-for-2 and belted a three-run homer to lead the Cowboys over the Warriors. Drew Stater, Jason Frederico and John Kelbel had two hits apiece for the victors.
Bonanza 11, Boulder City 2: Greg Garrison went 3-for-4 with a double and a triple and Austin Hales went 2-for-3 to lift the Bengals on the road.
Durango 13, Sand Springs (Okla.) 3: Brandon Campo hit a grand slam and Danny Kahr and Jake Stretz both went 2-for-3 to lead the Trailblazers.
SOFTBALL
Palo Verde 11, Green (Ohio) 0: Rachel Gonzales went 3-for-3 with a triple and five RBIs for the Panthers.
Durango 8, Sunset (Ore.) 0: Tisha Salamino struck out 12 batters and scattered three hits and Sara Spenia went 3-for-4 to lift the Blazers. Aja Sherman was 2-for-3 with two RBIs and Courtney Dilts finished 2-for-3 with an RBI.
Silverado 5, Grant (Ore.) 0: Melissa Lundwall tossed a two-hitter and Sabrina Reynolds knocked in a run for the Skyhawks.
Silverado 12, Grant (Ore.) 1: Morgan Miller allowed just one hit in five innings, striking out nine batters and Sonia Randolph went 4-for-4 with two RBIs as the Skyhawks swept a doubleheader.

BOYS VOLLEYBALL
Durango def. Green Valley, 15-7, 11-15, 15-6, 15-13: Brian Bounds had 12 kills and Mason Duff dished out 29 assists for the Blazers, while the Gators got 15 kills from Eric Mozur, 11 kills from Eric Shudy and 41 assists from Chuck Callick.
Chaparral def. Palo Verde, 15-1, 15-4, 15-6: Sindre Storvoll had six kills and Sam Marshall added 12 assists for the Cowboys. Mike Tanner chipped in six kills and six blocks for the Panthers in the loss.
