Basic 8, Bonanza 4: Jesse Craig belted a three-run homer in the fourth, Brian Lake went 3-for-3 and Matt Elliott fanned seven batters in five innings for the Wolves. Austin Hales went 3-for-3 for Bonanza.
Green Valley 12, Western 2: Garrett Guzman hit for the cycle and knocked in seven runs. Chris McGovern and Jake Dittler also homered for the Gators.
Foothill 4, Durango 3: Jabe Beard tossed a five-hitter and Grant Stanley's RBI single drove in Ricky Cerrone with the game-winning run in the seventh inning. Coltyn Simmons went 2-for-3, and Danny Kahr had a two-run triple for the Trailblazers.
Cimarron-Memorial 7, Eldorado 2: Chris Davila went 3-for-3 with two doubles and Stephen Russell went 2-for-4 with two RBIs for the Spartans.
Cheyenne 8, Desert Pines 1: Jimmy Klein struck out 10 in a complete-game three-hitter and went 3-for-4 at the plate with a homer and three RBIs for the Desert Shields.
Palo Verde 4, Rancho 3: Robbie Richards went 2-for-3 with a pair of doubles and an RBI and Chris Dowler struck out seven and scattered seven hits in seven innings for the Panthers.
Centennial 11, Valley 7: Chris Bonnell went 3-for-3 with a double and a triple and Julius Rivera went 3-for-3 with a double and two RBIs for the Bulldogs.
Las Vegas 6, Mojave 4: Sean Kazmar went 3-for-4 and Justin Hicks was 2-for-3 for the Wildcats, while Mat Ellis homered and doubled for the Rattlers.
Chaparral 15, Clark 5: Jason Frederico went 2-for-4 with three RBis and Teeter Moran and Chris Armbruster each drove in a pair of runs for the Cowboys.
SOFTBALL
Las Vegas 9, Mojave 2: Danielle Dugan, Lyndsey Webb and Ninfa Vega had two hits apiece to lead the Wildcats past the Rattlers.
Bonanza 5, Basic 1: Sara Bausher homered twice, doubled and knocked in four of the Bengals' runs.
Eldorado 4, Cimarron-Memorial 3: Crystal Alspaugh struck out eight batters and Jill Thompson singled home the winning run in the seventh inning.
Green Valley 20, Western 1: Emily Sully and Nicole Meyer homered and Sabrina White, Ashley Gebo and Erika Twesme tripled to lead the onslaught for the Gators.
Durango 6, Foothill 1: Aja Sherman struck out 10 batters and scattered four hits on the mound, while Karli O'Toole went 2-for-3 with a homer for the Blazers.
Cheyenne 21, Desert Pines 6: Carol Dominguez's three-run homer led the attack for the Shields, while Andrea Shepard tripled for the Jaguars.
Silverado 12, Bishop Gorman 0: Morgan Miller yielded one hit in five innings, striking out eight batters, and Sonia Randolph went 3-for-4 with four RBIs.
