Robert Stephen Blazek

Robert Stephen Blazek, 51, of Las Vegas died Tuesday in Las Vegas. He was born April 6, 1949, in Ohio. A resident for 31 years, he was a Vietnam War Army veteran and a member of the Rum Runner Pool League.

He is survived by one son, Robert Stephen Blazek Jr. of Las Vegas; his mother, Antoinette Blazek, one brother, Thomas Blazek, and one sister, Carol Blazek, all of Youngstown, Ohio.

Visitation is scheduled 4-7 p.m. Sunday in Davis Paradise Valley Funeral Home, 6200 S. Eastern Ave. Graveside services will be 11:30 a.m. Monday in Southern Nevada Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Boulder City.

Ronald G. Brelsford

Ronald G. Brelsford, 76, of Searchlight died Thursday in a local care center. He was born July 21, 1924, in Dayton, Ohio. A resident of Las Vegas for 40 years and a resident of Searchlight for four years, he was a retired World War II, Korean War and Vietnam War Navy veteran, a member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars, American Legion and several naval aviation organizations.

He is survived by his wife, Jean.

Evans 'Mr. B' Byars

Evans "Mr. B" Byars, 77, of Las Vegas died Wednesday in Las Vegas. He was born June 10, 1923, in North Carolina. A resident for 43 years, he was a retired bus driver in Las Vegas, Reno and Tonopah and a World War II Army Air Corps veteran.

He is survived by four sons, Wade Byars, Don Hunter and Bill E. Byars, all of Las Vegas, and Larry Byars of Gaffney, S.C.; two daughters, Sandy Pacheco of Las Vegas and Paulette Shipman of Gaffney; two sisters, Pearl Falls of Gastonia, N.C., and Ionia Smith of Kings Mountain, N.C.; six grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.

Visitation is scheduled one hour prior to 11 a.m. services Saturday in Davis Paradise Valley Funeral Home, 6200 S. Eastern Ave. Burial will follow in Paradise Memorial Gardens.

Trinidad Calulot Jr.

Trinidad Calulot Jr., 55, of Las Vegas died Tuesday in a local hospital. He was born Oct. 2, 1945, in Manila, Philippines. A resident for five years, he was a security officer at the Meadows mall, a retired Army master sergeant, a Vietnam War veteran and a member of the Knights of Columbus at Prince of Peace Catholic Church.

He is survived by his wife, Zenaida E.; one daughter, Josephine E. Calulot, and one son, Joshua Trinidad E. Calulot, both of Las Vegas; and five brothers, Lolito Calulot of Honolulu, Efren Calulot of Colorado Springs, Colo., Jose Calulot of Mililani, Hawaii, Edwin Calulot of Salt Lick, Ky., and Joseph Calulot of Ewa Beach, Hawaii.

Visitation is scheduled 2-7 p.m. Saturday in Palm Mortuary, 800 S. Boulder Highway, Henderson. Services will be 10:30 a.m. Tuesday in Prince of Peace Catholic Church, 5485 E. Charleston Blvd. Graveside services will be 12:30 p.m. Tuesday in Southern Nevada Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Boulder City.

Sharon L. Chaoush

Sharon L. Chaoush, 38, of Henderson died Monday in Henderson. She was born Aug. 2, 1962, in Henderson. A lifelong resident, she was a registered nurse.

She is survived by one son, Eric Kilfoyle, one daughter, Jennifer Andersen, and one brother, Allan W. Miller, all of Henderson.

A memorial service will be 1 p.m. Sunday in Palm Mortuary, 800 S. Boulder Highway, Henderson.

Alene 'Sally' Forward

Alene 'Sally' Forward, 83, of Las Vegas died Wednesday in a local hospital. She was born July 3, 1917, in Clovis, Calif. A resident for one year, she was a retired nurse, drove an ambulance with Red Bluff Ambulance in Red Bluff, Calif., and was a member of the Whitney Seniors Group.

She is survived by one son, James C. Noren of Las Vegas; four grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.

Palm Mortuary, 7400 W. Cheyenne Ave., is handling private arrangements.

James Hudgies

James Hudgies, 58, of Las Vegas died Wednesday in Las Vegas. He was born Sept. 30, 1942, in Laurel, Miss. A resident for four years, he was a security officer in the real estate industry and an Air Force veteran.

He is survived by his wife, Mary E.; three sons, Gregory Hudgies of Las Vegas, Michael Calloway of Los Angeles and James Lockhart of El Reno, Okla.; three daughters, Janice Calloway of Los Angeles, Antionette Holly Brown of Las Vegas, and Tanya Brown of Soso, Miss., his mother, Alberta Hudgies of Laurel; three brothers, Perry G. Hudgies of Las Vegas, Donald A. Hudgies of Biloxi, Miss., and Ronald T. Hudgies of Hattiesburg, Miss.; and 13 grandchildren.

Visitation is scheduled one hour prior to 3 p.m. services Saturday in Palm Mortuary, 1325 N. Main St. Burial will be in Laurel.

Paul G. Johnson

Paul G. Johnson, 84, of Las Vegas died March 15 in Las Vegas. An Army sergeant, he was born April 18, 1916, in Chicago.

He is survived by his wife, Marie J.; and one daughter, Judy Ann Berkeley of Las Vegas.

Buddy Jolliff

Buddy Jolliff, 65, of Las Vegas died Tuesday in a local hospital. He was born Dec. 12, 1935, in Wooster, Ohio. A resident for 30 years, he was a retired hotel porter, a school crossing guard and an assistant troop leader for the Boy Scouts of America.

He is survived by three brothers, Michael Jolliff and Barry Bogart, both of Las Vegas, and Pete Jolliff of Long Beach, Calif.; and one sister, Joy Bogart of Las Vegas.

Visitation is scheduled one hour prior to 2 p.m. services Sunday in Palm Mortuary, 7600 S. Eastern Ave.

Muriel Elizabeth King

Muriel Elizabeth King, 84, of Lake Havasu City, Ariz., died Friday in a Havasu medical center. She was born July 27, 1916, in Kansas City, Kan. A Las Vegas resident for 27 years, she was a retired bookkeeper.

She is survived by one daughter, Sharon Lee Graybeal of Yuma, Ariz.; one brother, Forrest Snelling of Delaware, Md.; three grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.

Visitation is scheduled 10 a.m.-1 p.m. Saturday in Palm Mortuary, 1325 N. Main St. Graveside services will follow in Palm Memorial Park.

Robert Lee

Robert Lee, 65, of Las Vegas died March 15 in Las Vegas. He was born July 1, 1935, in New York. A resident for four years, he was a retired merchant seaman.

He is survived by one niece, Faye Longmire of Florida.

Peter Magsalin

Peter Magsalin, 60, of Las Vegas died Thursday in a local hospice. He was born Aug. 1, 1940, in Manila, Philippines. A resident for three years, he was a physician's assistant.

He is survived by his wife, Pricilla; one daughter, Yvette Arcenal of San Francisco; one son, Robert Magsalin of Las Vegas; his mother, Cecilia Magsalin of Victoria, British Columbia; five sisters, Esther Carramanzana of Duarte, Calif., Lydia Tirona and Raquel Asuncion, both of the Philippines, Rhodelia Quisido of Glendale, Calif., and Lorena Magsalin of Victoria; and one brother, Honesto Magsalin of San Diego.

Visitation is scheduled 3-7 p.m. today in Palm Mortuary, 1325 N. Main St. Services will be 3:30 p.m. Saturday in Palm Chapel, Main. Additional visitation will be 8-9 a.m. Sunday in Palm Mortuary, Main. Graveside services will follow at 9 a.m. Sunday in Palm Memorial Park.

Richard A. McKay

Richard A. McKay, 77, of Las Vegas died Wednesday in a local hospital. He was born June 14, 1923, in Fort Wayne, Ind. A resident for eight years, he was a retired real estate broker, a World War II Navy veteran, a member of the Shriners and the Veterans of Foreign Wars.

He is survived by two sons, Donald McKay and Gary McKay, both of Temecula, Calif.; two daughters, Suzanne Herman and Nancy L. Merritt of Houston; one sister, Margaret Finch of Sun City, Ariz.; and five grandchildren.

Wadell McKiness

Wadell McKiness, 63, of North Las Vegas died March 15 in Las Vegas. He was born Dec. 31, 1937, in Jackson, Miss. A resident for one year, he was a retired parts driver and a veteran of the Navy Reserves.

He is survived by his wife, Evelyn; five sons; three daughters; one goddaughter; one godson; two sisters; 24 grandchildren and one great-grandchild.

Visitation will continue until 7 p.m. today in Harrison-Ross Mortuaries, 2071 Las Vegas Blvd. North, North Las Vegas. Services will be 11 a.m. Saturday in Harrison-Ross Mortuaries. A private burial will follow.

Alvin Richard Mifelow

Alvin Richard Mifelow, 70, of Las Vegas died Tuesday in a local hospital. He was born March 31, 1930, in Detroit. A resident for 12 years, he was a retired freelance director, a two-time Emmy Award-winning television director, president of Almif Productions and Air Force first lieutenant.

He is survived by his wife, Kathy Hall; three stepsons, Steven Hall, Christopher Hall and John Hall, and two stepdaughters, Peggy Hall and Cindy Hall, all of Las Vegas; and one sister, Sheila Forman.

A memorial service will be 3 p.m. Sunday in Palm Mortuary, 1600 S. Jones Blvd. Burial will be in Detroit. Palm Mortuary, 7600 S. Eastern Ave., is handling arrangements.

George J. Murphy

George J. Murphy, 62, of Las Vegas died March 15 in Las Vegas. He was born Nov. 24, 1938, in Brooklyn, N.Y. A resident for 21 years, he was a retired electrician, a Vietnam War Air Force veteran, a member of the National Rifle Association, Desert Sportsman's Rifle and Pistol Club, International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers Local 357 in Las Vegas and Local 3 in New York.

He is survived by his wife, Jean C.; two sons, Scott Murphy of West Milford, N.J., and Curtis Murphy of West Chester, Pa.; three daughters, Dr. Celeste Wine of West Chester, Dr. Corrine Sackette of Spring Grove, Pa., and Dr. Serena Kurtz of Lancaster, Pa.; one stepdaughter, Dawn Marquardt of Montoursville, Pa.; one stepson, Todd Weisse of Las Vegas; and nine grandchildren.

A memorial service will be 2 p.m. Sunday in Davis Funeral Home, 2127 W. Charleston Blvd. Graveside services at Southern Nevada Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Boulder City, are pending.

Teodulfo Lopez Ordinario

Teodulfo Lopez Ordinario, 85, of Las Vegas died Tuesday in a local hospital. He was born June 24, 1915, in Manila, Philippines. A resident for seven years, he was a casino porter.

He is survived by five daughters, Eva Dimaala and Kay Wooten, both of Houston, Eli Gallardo and Kim Gomez, both of the Philippines, and Min Arlos of New Orleans; four sons; Dan Ordinario, Don Ordinario, Sam Ordinario and Bob Ordinario, all of Japan; his mother, Chiyoko Ordinario of Las Vegas; three brothers, Generoso Ordinario of California, Primitivo Ordinario of the Philippines and Antonio Ordinario of Las Vegas; 22 grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.

Visitation is scheduled 9 a.m.-7:30 p.m. Sunday and 9 a.m. until 1 p.m. services Monday in Palm Mortuary, 1600 S. Jones Blvd. Graveside services will be 2 p.m. Wednesday in Palm Valley View Memorial Park.

Lillie Stubbs

Lillie Stubbs, 84, of Henderson died Wednesday in Henderson. A nurse's aide, she was born March 12, 1917, in Arkansas.

She is survived by one daughter, Linda Groves of Henderson; and one granddaughter.

Donald Tripole

Donald Tripole, 74, of Las Vegas died Wednesday in a local hospital. He was born Nov. 16, 1926, in New York. A resident for 40 years, he was a retired Las Vegas High School teacher and an Army veteran.

He is survived by one brother, the Rev. Martin Tripole of Pennsylvania; and three sisters, Nina Koehler of Texas and Genevieve Griffin and Connie Holcomb, both of New York.

Flora M. Velarde

Flora M. Velarde, 68, of Henderson died Wednesday in a local hospital. She was born Aug. 3, 1932, in Canjilon, N.M. A resident for 12 years, she was a homemaker.

She is survived by her husband, Abel Velarde Sr.; two daughters, Ramona Gonzales and Cora Dixon, both of Henderson; two sons, Valentino Velarde and Abel Velarde Jr., both of Montrose, Colo.; four sisters, Albertina Jaramillo of Phoenix, Viola Martinez of Espanola, N.M., Ermelinda Chavez of Colorado Springs, Colo., and Severa Garcia of Chama, N.M.; three half-brothers; nine grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.

Pamela J. Weimer

Pamela J. Weimer, 45, of North Las Vegas died Wednesday in North Las Vegas. She was born March 11, 1956, in Illinois. A resident for two years, she was a preschool teacher.

She is survived by her father, Howard Flebbe Sr. of Las Vegas; her mother, Joan Abbinanti of Chicago; and one brother, Howard Flebbe of Addison, Ill.

Vernon J. Windham

Vernon J. Windham, 85, of Pass Christian, Miss., died Tuesday in Pass Christian. He was born in New Orleans. A former Las Vegas resident, he was involved in the gaming industry and was a World War II Army Air Corps veteran who served primarily in the China Burma India Theater.

He was preceded in death by one son, Richard Edgar Windham.

He is survived by his wife, Shirley; two sons, Rod Windham of Steamboat Springs, Colo., and David Paul Windham of Los Angeles; and one grandchild.

No local services are scheduled. Bradford-O'Keefe Funeral Homes, Inc., Gulfport, Miss., is handling arrangements.

Christopher A. Williams

Christopher A. Williams, 36, of Las Vegas died Wednesday in Las Vegas. He was born April 19, 1964, in Syracuse, N.Y. A longtime resident, he was a computer technician.

He is survived by his wife, Kristina; his parents, Mary E. and Hal Williams, and two brothers, Hal Williams and Joseph S. Williams, all of Las Vegas.

Sally Mary Wlodarczyk

Sally Mary Wlodarczyk, 84, of Las Vegas died Thursday in Las Vegas. A resident for 18 years, she was born Nov. 7, 1916, in Hadley, Mass.

She is survived by one son, Lincoln Dante of Las Vegas; one brother, Walter Koslowski of Brimfield, Mass.; one sister, Verna Cholewa of Warren, Mass.; two grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

Elwood Woodson

Elwood Woodson, 79, of Las Vegas died Friday in a local health care center. He was born July 10, 1921, in Chesterfield, Va. A resident for many years, he was a mechanic.

He is survived by one sister, Agnes Miller of Richmond, Va.; one stepdaughter, Joyce Dryer of Las Vegas; one granddaughter and one step-granddaughter.

Ann M. Zabko

Ann M. Zabko, 83, of Las Vegas died Wednesday in Las Vegas. She was born March 3, 1918, in Illinois. A resident for many years, she was a bottler for a distillery.

She is survived by one son, Lawrence Gieks of Buena Park, Calif.
