Letter: We deserve coverage

I read Dean Juipe's column and felt very sad that he showed an interest in our team just to be disappointed ("Wasted trip shows CCSN needs help," March 19). I say our team because my son is one of the players for CCSN and I am a faithful fan. There should have been a public announcement about the cancellation of the fourth game.

I am so very proud of the team and the CCSN program. The players are all so talented with the majority drawn directly from Las Vegas where people have followed and supported them for years.

It is nice to know that there are reporters who feel the team is deserving of coverage and I will remind (CCSN officials) to make sure they have covered all the bases in the future, to ensure goodwill with the public, fans, and our local papers.
