Why is UNLV pursuing Purdue's Gene Keady to be its next basketball coach? If he is such a great coach, why are the Boilermakers in the NIT instead of the NCAA Tournament?
No coach can recruit the blue-chip players needed to make the Rebels good enough to reach the Final Four while UNLV is on probation. So why the rush to hire a famous coach at a fabulous wage?
One more misstep, and it is the end of Rebel basketball. UNLV has only one good choice for its next basketball coach, and that choice is Max Good.
