StumbleLetter: Early voting is too expensive

As a taxpayer residing in the city of Las Vegas, I was aghast when I received my primary sample ballot.
In my ward, I have only one race to vote for in this primary election, which is for municipal judge.
Taxpayers will pay for 14 days of early voting at 16 locations, in addition to the fact that all polls will be open on the primary election day, April 3.
How can this waste of taxpayer dollars be justified?
