Carl Gerald Blair
Carl Gerald Blair, 62, of Las Vegas died Thursday in Las Vegas. He was born Nov. 18, 1938, in Michigan. A resident for 15 years, he was an apartment manager.
He was preceded in death by one daughter, Nichole Johnson.
He is survived by his wife, Sally; two sons, Dennis Mansfield of Boise, Idaho, and Donald Blair of Las Vegas; one daughter, Janise Ryan, and one sister, Suzan King, both of Las Vegas; and two grandchildren.
Services were scheduled at noon today in Hites Funeral Services, 438 W. Sunset Road, Henderson. Burial was private.
Ada K. Bond
Ada K. Bond, 85, of Las Vegas died Thursday in a local hospital. She was born Nov. 7, 1915, in Humphrey, Neb. A resident for 61 years, she was a retired supervisor for a uniform rental company, past president of the PTA at Washington Street School and a descendant of the Daughters of the American Revolution.
She is survived by three daughters, Janet Gilman, Sharon Fox and Charlotte Knudsen, and two sons, Terry Bond and Jim Bond, all of Las Vegas; two sisters, Lola Wallace of Aurora, Colo., and Doreen Sterup of Osceola, Neb.; one brother, Morris Miller of Howard Lake, Minn.; 15 grandchildren and 22 great-grandchildren.
A memorial service will be 11 a.m. Wednesday in Calvary Chapel of Spring Valley, 7175 W. Oquendo Road. Palm Mortuary, 1325 N. Main St., is handling arrangements.
The family suggests contributions to the local hospice of the donor's choice.
Steven Campbell
Steven Campbell, 47, of Las Vegas died March 2 in a local hospital. He was born Dec. 22, 1943, in Malvern, Iowa. A resident for 11 years, he was a hotel security officer and a Vietnam War Army veteran.
He is survived by his companions, Renn Reed and Mark Barth, both of Las Vegas; two sisters, Nancy Thomas of Amarillo, Texas, and Carol Frankforter of Silver City, Iowa; and one brother, Toby Campbell of Hastings, Iowa.
Graveside services will be noon Saturday in Palm Mortuary, 7600 S. Eastern Ave. Burial will follow in Palm Valley View Memorial Park. Palm Mortuary, 1325 N. Main St., is handling arrangements.
Shed Elliott
Shed Elliott, 74, of Las Vegas died Thursday in a local hospital. He was born July 18, 1926, in Glasgow, Ky. A resident for 32 years, he was a retired Army colonel and retired Department of Energy director of health and safety officer, a World War II, Korean War and Vietnam War veteran who earned the Legion of Merit, Bronze Star and Army Commendation Medal. He was a member of the West Virginia Alumni Association, American Society of Military Engineers, American Ordinance Association and a Buffalo Soldier.
He is survived by his wife, Patricia M.; one son, Darryl Clark of Las Vegas; and two brothers, Bobby Ray Elliott and Alexander Elliott, both of Glasgow.
Visitation is scheduled 4-8 p.m. Wednesday in Zion Methodist Church, 2108 N. Revere St. Services will be 11 a.m. Thursday in Zion Methodist Church. Graveside services will be in Arlington National Cemetery. Palm Mortuary, 1600 S. Jones Blvd., is handling arrangements.

Glen A. Petitti
Glen A. Petitti, 75, of Las Vegas died Saturday in a local hospice. He was born May 27, 1925, in Wattis, Utah. A resident for 51 years, he was a retired vice president in the banking industry, a World War II Navy veteran, a member of the Lions Club and the Eagle Scouts.
He is survived by his wife, Bernice; two sons, Andrew Petitti of Las Vegas and David Petitti of San Diego; one sister, Ann Dorland of California; three grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
Palm Mortuary, 7400 W. Cheyenne Ave., is handling arrangements.

Bertie R. Sherrell
Bertie R. Sherrell, 92, of Las Vegas died Saturday in a local care center. He was born Sept. 12, 1908, in Mountain Grove, Mo. A resident for 20 years, he was a retired employee of Lockheed Aircraft Corp. in Burbank, Calif.
He is survived by two daughters, Pat Smith of Bannford, Okla., and Joan Brown of Las Vegas; three sons, Bertie Sherrell Jr. of Tulsa, Okla., James Sherrell of Laguna Hills, Calif., and Timothy Sherrell of Clearlake Oaks, Calif.; one sister, Naomi Schenck of Las Vegas; 13 grandchildren and numerous great-grandchildren.
Services will be 2 p.m. Wednesday in First Henderson United Methodist Church, 609 E. Horizon Drive, Henderson. Burial will be in California. Davis Paradise Valley Funeral Home, 6200 S. Eastern Ave., is handling arrangements.
Alexander D. Stefanovich
Alexander D. Stefanovich, 77, of Henderson died Saturday in Henderson. He was born June 26, 1923, in New York City. A former Las Vegas resident for six years and a Henderson resident for five years, he was a retired aerospace composite mechanic, a World War II Army veteran and a member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars.
He is survived by his wife, Theresa; one daughter, Diane Powell of Henderson; two grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
Palm Mortuary, 800 S. Boulder Highway, Henderson, is handling arrangements.
Ginger Mona Watson
Ginger Mona Watson, 64, of Las Vegas died Saturday in Las Vegas. She was born Aug. 30, 1936, in Los Angeles. A resident for 41 years, she was a veterans coordinator at UNLV.
She is survived by three daughters, Susan Bozarth of Henderson and Christi Mahoney and Aleta Macha, both of Las Vegas; one son, Marty Watson of Fernwood, Idaho; one sister, Sonja Sepion of the Dalles, Ore.; one stepsister, Sheena Higginbottom of Washington state; and seven grandchildren.
A memorial service will be 11 a.m. Wednesday in Palm Mortuary, 800 S. Boulder Highway, Henderson. Palm Mortuary, 7400 W. Cheyenne Ave., is handling arrangements.
The family suggests donations to St. Jude's Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Parkway, Memphis, TN 38105.
Chester Williams
Chester Williams, 85, of Las Vegas died Saturday in a local hospice. He was born Sept. 18, 1915, in Ada, Okla. A resident for 56 years, he was a retired electrician, a World War II Army veteran, a member of the Masons and the Zelzah Shrine Temple.
He is survived by his wife, Helen E.
