Computer school to reopen

Monday, March 19, 2001 | 11:13 a.m.

Computer classes are scheduled to resume March 28 for students that were locked out of their Henderson program when the Virginia-based Computer Learning Centers filed for bankruptcy in late January.

The school, located at 2290 Corporate Circle Drive, Suite 100 in Green Valley, will be renamed Computer Ed. Institute, under the direction of the New Jersey-based Lincoln Technical Institute.

The new administration has scheduled two meetings Thursday for students seeking information about resuming incomplete course work. Those times are at 10 a.m. and 6:30 p.m.

Students will have 90 days from that Thursday meeting to resume their courses at no charge if they had already paid CLC tuition, said Dave Evans, the former CLC local administrator who has been hired as the director of the new Henderson program.
