Letter: Tell lawmakers to help out ‘notch babies’
Friday, March 16, 2001 | 10:12 a.m.
I am a recent resident to Las Vegas. How many of us are aware of the unfairness of the "notch babies" law? This penalizes citizens who were born between the years 1917 to 1922. Our Social Security benefits were decreased. Why I have no idea. This should be remedied. I am a veteran and am 80 years old. Why are we being penalized?
Please bring this to the attention of our congressmen in Washington, D.C.
