Victims of Crime Program to receive $871,000

Nevada's Victims of Crime Program received $871,000 in federal grant funding. This money will help reduce the cost of medical bills, counseling, funeral expenses, lost wages and other forms of assistance crime victims pay.
Persons qualified to receive the funding include any crime victim in Nevada, a dependent of the victim or any person acting legally on behalf of the victim. For more information, call: 486-2740.
