Basic 3, Bishop Gorman 1: Matt Elliott and Trevor Markwell combined on a four-hitter, with Elliott striking out six in six innings for his first win of the season.
Centennial 2, Desert Pines 1: Bryce Massanari singled home Derek Brundage in the sixth inning to win it for the Bulldogs, who got a complete-game three-hitter and 13 strikeouts from Justin Wetzler.
Green Valley 7, Durango 0: Jake Dittler tossed a complete-game one-hitter, striking out 10 and walking two to lead the Gators. Zeke Parraz went 2-for-2 with five RBIs, a double and a triple and Garrett Guzman went 3-for-3 for the victors.
Eldorado 6, Cheyenne 5, 8 inn.: Nolan Lambertson pitched a perfect eighth inning for the victory and scored the game-winning run on Justin Hansen's single to right. Joe Cormier and Matt Hamrick both went 2-for-4 for the Sundevils.
Bonanza 5, Chaparral 2: Billy Osgood's two-run single highlighted a five-run fifth inning for the Bengals. Andrew Smith had two doubles for the victors.
Mojave 12, Rancho 7: Tyler Hood went 3-for-5 with a homer, a double and four RBIs to lead a 17-hit assault for the Rattlers.
Palo Verde 12, Valley 1: Matt Wilson tossed a five-hitter with eight strikeouts and Eric Newman went 2-for-4 with two RBIs for the Panthers.
Foothill 11, Clark 1: Grant Stanley yielded three hits and struck out seven on the mound and knocked in four runs at the plate for the Falcons.
Silverado 5, Western 3: Ken Clayton improved to 2-0 on the year with a complete game, while Mike Welter and Tyler Coon had two hits apiece for the Skyhawks.
Las Vegas 11, Cimarron-Memorial 10: Troy Remer went 2-for-4 and scored the winning run in the bottom of the seventh for the Wildcats, who also got three RBIs from Pete White.
SOFTBALL
Durango 10, Green Valley 0: Aja Sherman homered and knocked in three runs and Stephanie Fisco went 3-for-4 with three RBIs for the Blazers.
Cimarron-Memorial 6, Las Vegas 5, 8 inn: Kim Adams and Victoria Morache had RBI singles in the decisive eighth inning for the Spartans. Danielle Dugan, Lyndsey Webb and Ninfa Vega each had two hits for Las Vegas.
Basic 5, Bishop Gorman 0: Jenn Bowen threw a complete-game one-hitter, striking out 13 and walking none, and Brittany Lorenzen went 2-for-3 for the Wolves.
Foothill 13, Clark 2: Katie Almberg and Laci Mann combined to go 5-for-5 with five RBIs for the Falcons.
Silverado 12, Western 0: Krystal Harmon tossed a two-hitter and Emily Moores and Melissa Lundwall doubled for the Skyhawks.
Centennial 28, Desert Pines 0: Pitcher Amy Sauer shut out the Jaguars, while Shannon Crisp went 5-for-6 for the Bulldogs.
Mojave 15, Rancho 7: Tanya Haferi went 3-for-6 for the Rattlers, who scored 10 runs in the first inning.
Bonanza 14, Chaparral 1: Trisha DeSimone went 3-for-4 with two doubles and two RBIs for the Bengals.
Eldorado 3, Cheyenne 0: Crystal Alspaugh struck out 11 batters and held the Desert Shields to two hits, while Tiffany Mathews and April Keith each went 2-for-3 for the Sundevils.
Palo Verde 4, Valley 1: Niki Rose and Jen Huber both finished 3-for-4, and Renee DiPuccio struck out eight batters and al;lowed just three hits in seven inning for the Panthers.
