Orris Eugene Clark
Orris Eugene Clark, 76, of Henderson died Friday in Las Vegas. He was born Sept. 12, 1924, in Parowan, Utah. A resident for 50 years, he was a retired carpenter for a chemical company and a World War II Navy veteran.
He is survived by his wife, Colleen; one daughter, Pamela McClain, and three sons, Gary L. Clark, Darrel Clark and Adrian Clark, all of Henderson; two sisters, Iris Neilson and Elrea Curtis, both of Las Vegas; 11 grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
Visitation is scheduled 5-7 p.m. today in Palm Mortuary, 800 S. Boulder Highway, Henderson. Additional visitation will be 9 a.m. until 10 a.m. services Tuesday in the LDS Arrowhead Ward. Graveside services will be 4:30p.m. Tuesday in Paragonah Cemetery in Utah.
The family suggests donations c/o Bishop Jacob Lee to the LDS Missionary Fund, 301 Heather Drive, Henderson, NV 89015.
Mark Corkill
Mark Corkill, 27, of Las Vegas died Thursday in Las Vegas. He was born March 18, 1973, in Korea. A resident for 1 1/2 years, he was a restaurant shift supervisor.
He is survived by his parents, Lawrence and Ellen Corkill, and one sister, Malinda Corkill, all of Lake Oswego, Ore.; and two brothers, M. Charles Corkill of Oregon City, Ore., and Daniel Corkill of Wilsonville, Ore.
A private memorial service will be held. Palm Mortuary, 7400 W. Cheyenne Ave., handled arrangements.
Fortunato S. Gaoiran
Fortunato S. Gaoiran, 74, of Las Vegas died Saturday in a local care center. He was born Jan. 16, 1927, in the Philippines. A resident for 33 years, he was a retired hotel chef.
He is survived by two daughters, Debbie Zamorano of North Las Vegas and Janet Howard of Las Vegas; and six grandchildren.
Visitation will continue until 7 p.m. today in Palm Mortuary, 1600 S. Jones Blvd. Additional visitation is scheduled 9-11 a.m. Tuesday in Palm Mortuary, Jones. Services will be 2 p.m. Tuesday in Trinity Life Center, 1000 E. St. Louis Ave. Burial will be in Palm Memorial Park, Northwest.
Donald E. Lamson
Donald E. Lamson, 72, of Las Vegas died Saturday in a local hospice. He was born Sept. 7, 1928, in Glendale, Calif. A resident for 51 years, he was a retired hotel stagehand, World War II Navy veteran and a member of the Masons Daylight Lodge.
He is survived by his wife, Patricia; three daughters, Shelia Kimble of Las Vegas, Linda Marx of California and Susan Cunningham of Crestline, Calif.; seven grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
Visitation is scheduled noon-6 p.m. Tuesday in Palm Mortuary, 1325 N. Main St. Services will be 11 a.m. Wednesday in Palm Mortuary, Downtown.
The family suggests donations to the Nathan Adelson Hospice, 4141 S. Swenson St., Las Vegas, NV 89119.
Mary W. Marsh
Mary W. Marsh, 80, of Las Vegas died Friday in Las Vegas. She was born May 31, 1920, in Grantsville, Utah. A resident for 44 years, she was a homemaker.
She is survived by one brother, Jeff Worthington, and one sister, Joanne Johnson, both of Grantsville.
Visitation is scheduled noon until 1 p.m. services Saturday in the West Bonanza LDS chapel. Burial will be in Paradise Memorial Gardens. Bunkers Mortuary, 925 Las Vegas Blvd. North, is handling arrangements.
Ronald E. Mitscher
Ronald E. Mitscher, 55, of Henderson died Friday in Henderson. He was born Feb. 2, 1946, in Hazel Park, Mich. A resident for seven months, he was an Army and Navy veteran.
He is survived by one brother, Lester Mitschler of Lawrence, Kan.
Visitation is scheduled 10 a.m. until 11 a.m. services Tuesday in Palm Mortuary, 800 S. Boulder Highway, Henderson.
The family suggests donations to the American Heart Association, 6370 W. Flamingo Road, Suite 1, Las Vegas, NV 89103.
Richard J. Troidl
Richard J. Troidl, 56, of Las Vegas died Friday in a local hospice. He was born July 2, 1944, in Buffalo, N.Y. A resident for eight years, he was a business owner/operator and a Vietnam War Army veteran.
He is survived by his wife, Diane; one daughter, Holly Troidl, and one son, Nicholas Troidl, both of Las Vegas; his mother, Lola Troidl of of Buffalo; and two brothers, Ken Troidl of Buffalo and Robert Troidl of Stafford, Va.
Affordable Cremation and Burial Service, 2457 N. Decatur Blvd., handled arrangements.
Virginia Genny Wallace
Virginia Genny Wallace, 55, of Pahrump died Thursday in Pahrump. She was born April 18, 1945, in California. A resident for eight years, she was a homemaker.
She is survived by her husband, William David; one son, Salvadore G. Wallace of Arizona; two daughters, Rosella Marie Crowell and Orlanda Marie Crowell, her parents, Salvadore and Poletia Razo, and two sisters, Patricia Razo and Linda Razo, all of California; and seven grandchildren.
Visitation will be 2 p.m. until 4 p.m. services Thursday in Pahrump Family Mortuary, 2240 E. Calvada Blvd.
Steven Craig Zinda
Steven Craig Zindaj, 44, of Henderson died Thursday in Henderson. He was born Oct. 25, 1956, in Wisconsin Rapids, Wis. A resident for a short time, he was a business owner.
He is survived by his parents, Martin and Marion Zinda, both of Wisconsin Rapids.
No local services scheduled. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery in Wisconsin. Hites Funeral Services, 438 W. Sunset Road, Henderson, handled arrangements.
