Sean C. Adams, 30, of Las Vegas died Friday in Las Vegas. He was born April 20, 1970, in Los Angeles. A resident for 15 years, he was a security officer for a private security business.

He is survived by his mother, Alberta Patnett of Las Vegas; his father, S.C. Adams of Los Angeles; two brothers, S.C. Adams Jr., of Mississippi and Garth Patnett of Las Vegas; and two sisters, Alicia Patnett of Las Vegas and Patricia Adams of Mississippi.

Visitation is scheduled 6-8 p.m. today in American Burial and Cremation Services, 310 Foremaster Lane. Services will be 11 a.m. Friday in American Burial and Cremation. Burial will be in Woodlawn Cemetery.

Samuel Joseph Arrigo

Samuel Joseph Arrigo, 81, of Las Vegas died Friday in a local care center. He was born Aug. 24, 1919, in New York City. A resident for 28 years, he was a bookkeeper and an Army veteran.

He is survived by one son, John Arrigo, and one daughter, Elizabeth Klein, both of Las Vegas; three brothers, Frank Arrigo of Florida, Sal Arrigo of California and John Arrigo of New Jersey; one sister, Santa DiComo of New York; two grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

Visitation is scheduled 10:30-11 a.m. Friday in Desert Memorial Cremation and Burial Society, 1111 Las Vegas Blvd. North. Services will be 12:30 p.m. Friday in Southern Nevada Veterans Chapel.

Charles Fred Atkinson

Charles Fred Atkinson, 76, of Las Vegas died Wednesday in Las Vegas. He was born July 11, 1924, in Warren, Ohio. A resident for eight years, he was a lawyer in Warren for 40 years, specializing in probate and tax laws. He was a former prisoner of war who was captured during the Battle of the Bulge, and a was a member of the 42nd Rainbow Division. He was a Mason and a member of the Ancient Accepted Scottish Rite in Youngstown, Ohio, president of Western Reserve Council of Boy Scouts of America and active as a scoutmaster for many years.

He is survived by his wife of 57 years, Beverly; one son, Dr. Thomas T. Atkinson of Marion, N.C.; one daughter, Amy Atkinson Pettigrew of Uniontown, Ohio; and five grandchildren.

A memorial service will be 2 p.m. Sunday in Mountain View Presbyterian Church, 8601 Del Webb Blvd. Neptune Society of Nevada, 1111 Las Vegas Blvd. North, Building 5, is handling arrangements.

Theresa M. Blair

Theresa M. Blair, 43, of Henderson died Monday in a local hospice. She was born Dec. 2, 1957, in Newport, R.I. A resident for three years, she was an education clerical aide.

She is survived by her husband, Richard; one son, Eric Blair of Henderson; her stepfather and mother, Edward and Phyllis Labine Sr., and one sister, Kathy Jarvis, all of Wagner, S.C.; one brother, John Greene of Allendale, S.C.; and two stepbrothers, Mark Labine of Kent, Wash., and Edward Labine Jr., of White River Junction, Vt.

George Fredrick Blohm

George Fredrick Blohm, 83, of Pahrump died Saturday in Las Vegas. He was born July 16, 1917, in Columbus, Neb. A resident for 33 years, he was a bartender and a World War II Army veteran.

He is survived by his wife, Eleanor Peters; one daughter, Karen Tucker of Pahrump; three sisters, Hilda Robbins of Quail Valley, Calif., and Alice Rupp and Adelta Olson, both of Columbus; two brothers, Gerald Blohm of Pahrump and Ralph Blohm of Nixon, Mo.; and two grandchildren.

Frank Bonanno, 87, of Las Vegas died Sunday in a local hospital. He was born July 19, 1913, in New York City. A resident for 10 years, he was a retired engraver for an aircraft company and a member of the Italian Catholic Federation Branch No. 420.

He is survived by his wife, Grace; one son, Joseph Bonanno of Torrance, Calif.; one daughter, Rosann Myron of Mission Viejo, Calif.; one brother, Joseph Bonanno of Cerritos, Calif.; five grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.

Marian M. Casagrande

Marian M. Casagrande, 84, of Boulder City died Wednesday in a local hospital. She was born Oct. 27, 1916, in Winnemucca. A resident for 23 years, she was a retired personal secretary for a military hospital and was given a civil service meritorious award.

She is survived by her husband, Joe; two daughters, Pamela Saindon of Boulder City and Sandra Gardner of Henderson; four grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren and one great great-grandchild.

Pearl Elva Cole, 98, of Henderson died Sunday in Henderson. She was born Aug. 2, 1902, in Missouri. A longtime resident, she was a department store saleswoman.

Donald Andrew Daufenbach, 79, of Las Vegas died Monday in Las Vegas. He was born May 23, 1921, in Chicago. A resident for 27 years, he was an electronics engineer for the U.S. government, World War II Army Air Corps veteran and a member of the Old Crows, Air Force Association, American Legion and Sunrise Senior Friends.

Jesse P. Dean, 82, of Las Vegas died Monday in a local hospital. He was born Sept. 7, 1918, in Missouri. A resident for 27 years, he was a retired roofer in the construction industry, World War II Navy veteran and a member of the American Legion and Lions Club.

He is survived by his wife, Geneva; one daughter, Wanda Dean Beard of Modesto, Calif., three sons, Rex Dean of Greers Ferry, Ariz., Glenn Dean of Redondo Beach, Calif., and Ron Dean of Henderson; eight grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren.

Gwendolyn Douglas, 50, of Las Vegas died Saturday in a local hospital. She was born Oct. 2, 1950, in Illinois. A longtime resident, she was a phlebotomist for a health care company.

She is survived by one son, Kevin Douglas of Las Vegas; and one daughter, Yvetta King of Peoria, Ill.

James V. Dudzis, 58, of Las Vegas died Tuesday in Las Vegas. He was born Sept. 5, 1942, in Massachusetts. A resident for 24 years, he was in security in the gaming industry.

He is survived by his wife, Brenda; and one son, James Brendon.

John J. Dunn, 63, of Las Vegas, died Thursday, in Las Vegas. He was born Aug. 3, 1937, in Camden, N.J. A resident for 40 years, he was a retired construction worker.

He is survived by two daughters, Linda Dunn and Irene Handley, both of Las Vegas; three sisters, Barbara Treusdale of Pine Valley, Utah, Dorothy Dobzanski of Camden, and Kathy Ploutz of Las Vegas; two brothers, William and Michael Dunn, both of Las Vegas; and two grandchildren.

Carol Ann Elliott, 67, of Las Vegas died Wednesday in a local hospice. She was born May 4, 1933, in Niagara, N.Y. A resident for 29 years, she was a retired hotel waitress and a member of the Culinary Union.

She is survived by one daughter, Deanna Taylor, and one son, Steve Elliott, both of Las Vegas; her mother, Olive Finelli of Lancaster, Calif.; two sisters, Marie Lamb of Lancaster and Theresa Shuart of Las Vegas; and three brothers, Charles Finelli and Tyrone Finelli, both of Lexington, Ky., and Peter Finelli of San Diego; and one grandchild.

Anthony A. Gamba, 72, Las Vegas died Tuesday in Las Vegas. He was born Jan. 12, 1929, in Cranston, R.I. A resident for five years, he was a machinist.

He is survived by three sons, Charles Gamba of North Las Vegas, James Grieco of Phoenix and Anthony Grieco of Rhode Island; three sisters, Carol Torres of Florida and Rose Arcuri and Josephine Del Rossi, both of Rhode Island; four grandchildren and one great-grandchildren.

Floyd Lorenzo Jenne

Floyd Lorenzo Jenne, 85, of Boulder City died Sunday in Las Vegas. He was born June 6, 1915, in Ogden, Utah. A resident for 62 years, he was the Boulder City chief of police from 1951 to 1960, a storekeeper at UNLV, Navy veteran and a member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars and American Legion and retired from the Federal Government after 32 years of service.

He is survived by two daughters, Joan Rogers of Boulder City and Nancy Fielding of Shelley, Idaho; one son, Rick Jenne of Sandy, Utah; two sisters, Elaine O'Brien of Reno and Ortel Peterson of Layton, Utah; 12 grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.

Visitation is scheduled 11:30 a.m. Friday in the LDS First Ward chapel in Boulder City. Services will be 12:30 p.m. in the chapel. Burial will be in Boulder City Cemetery.

Alice L. Keefer, 83, of Las Vegas, died Monday, in Las Vegas. She was born Oct. 15, 1917, in Wilkes-Barre, Pa. A resident for three years, she was a retired beautician and salon owner.

She is survived by two daughters, Rosanne Farrell of Las Vegas and Patricia Keefer of Wilkes-Barre; three sons, John Farrell of Wilkes-Barre, Donald Keefer of Laflin, Pa., and John Keefer of Dallas, Pa.; 12 grandchildren and 13 great-granchildren.

She is survived by her mother, Ira Butler of Las Vegas; one sister, Josephine Randall of Los Angeles; and one brother, Leroy Pelmore Jr. of Krum, Texas.

John "Kenny" Price, 77, of Las Vegas died Saturday in a local hospital. He was born March 26, 1923, in Orange County, Calif. A resident for 71 years, he was an owner-operator of Price Business Equipment Inc., a World War II Army veteran, a former member of the Jaycees and Elks and a member of Masonic Lodge 32.

He is survived by his wife, Ledenila; one daughter, Shebon Dominguez of El Paso, Texas; three sisters, Jeanne Herman, Patricia Beggerly and Jacqueline May, all of Las Vegas; and one grandchild.

Vivian "Norene" Rossignol, formerly of Las Vegas, died Saturday. She was born Nov. 15, 1925. Before moving to Washington state a year ago, she was a resident of Las Vegas for 10 years, was a waitress and member of the Order of the Eastern Star.

She is survived by one daughter, Cheryl Brantley of Yacolt, Wash.; two sons, Albert Rossignol of Seal Beach, Calif. and Steve Rossignol of Puyallop, Wash.; one sister, Alta Gallagher of Westminster, Calif.; one brother, Roy Brimhall of Long Beach, Calif.; three grandchildren and several step-granchildren, two great-great grandchildren and several step-great-grandchildren.

Services were Monday in Washington state. A graveside service will be held at Southern Nevada Veterans Memorial Cemetery in Boulder City.

L. Maxie Sanders, 74, of North Las Vegas died Sunday in a local hospital. He was born Jan. 8, 1927, in Nacogdoches, Texas. A resident for 50 years, he was a retired automobile maintenance technician.

He is survived by his wife, Lucy; six daughters, Gracie Gibbs, Sandra Thrower, Denise Brechier, Jeanette King, Sherry Connors and Ruth Sanders, and two sons, Dennis Sanders and Ted Sanders, all of Las Vegas; one sister, Gracie Simon of North Las Vegas; two brothers, Kline Sanders of North Las Vegas and Edmond Sanders Jr. of Tyler, Texas; 21 grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.

Jose L. San German, 74, of Henderson died Sunday in Henderson. He was born Nov. 21, 1926, in California. A resident for nine months, he was a tool and die maker for a paper company.

He is survived by his wife, Olga; and one daughter, Lorraine Sharp of Norwalk, Calif.

Herman W. Schaaf

Herman W. Schaaf, 81, of Las Vegas died Monday in a local hospital. He was born Jan. 3, 1920, in New York City. A resident for four years, he was a retired computer operator for an insurance company.

He is survived by his wife, Mary C.; one brother, Charles F. Schaaf Jr., and one sister, Gladys A. Zufall, both of Las Vegas.

Graveside services will be 2 p.m. Friday in Palm Memorial Park, Northwest. Palm Mortuary, 7400 W. Cheyenne Ave., is handling arrangements.

Michael Thomas Soderman

Michael Thomas Soderman, 47, of Las Vegas died Monday in Las Vegas. He was born Dec. 2, 1953, in California. A resident for five years, he was a computer analyst and a retired Navy veteran.

He is survived by his wife, Regina; two sons, Dylan Thomas Soderman and Sean Michael Soderman, both of Las Vegas; one daughter, Tracey Michelle Soderman of San Diego; his mother, Ethel Soderman of Las Vegas; two brothers, Terry Soderman of Minnesota and Lee Soderman of Wisconsin; one sister, Patricia Bibb of Austin, Texas; and one grandchild.

A private family viewing will be Thursday. Graveside services will be 10 a.m. Friday in in Southern Nevada Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Boulder City. Sylvester Sims

Sylvester Sims, 88, of Las Vegas died Friday in Las Vegas. He was born Sept. 10, 1912, in Tallulah, La. A resident for 10 years, he was a retired sanitation worker.

He is survived by four daughters, Dorothy Vaughan, Annie Green, Lucinda Silas and Martha Branch; one godchild, Arlean Claxton of Tallulah; six grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.

Visitation is scheduled noon-7 p.m. Friday in Harrison-Ross Mortuaries, 2071 Las Vegas Blvd. North. Services will be 11 a.m. Saturday in Greater New Jerusalem Baptist Church, 1100 N. D St. Burial will follow in Woodlawn Cemetery.

Janie Smith

Janie Smith, 91, of North Las Vegas died March 1 in a local care center. She was born Dec. 4, 1909, in Fordyce, Ark. A resident for eight years, she was a homemaker and a member of the Four Dice Club.

She is survived by one son, Albert Charles Harris; six grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.

Doris A. Trent

Doris A. Trent, 81, of Henderson died Monday in a local care center. She was born Nov. 11, 1919, in Lincoln, Iowa. A resident for seven years, she was a retired waitress.

She is survived by three daughters, Judy LeGault of Henderson, Della Hoyer of Torrance, Calif., and Kay Trent of Oregon; two sons, Marion Varns of Baton Rouge, La., and Cyrus Barnes of Lucerne Valley, Calif.; one brother, Dwight Harper of Missouri Valley, Iowa; 17 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.

Howard Richard Trollier

Howard Richard Trollier, 74, of Las Vegas died Tuesday in a local hospital. He was born July 28, 1928, in Minnesota. A resident for 19 years, he was a vice president for Collins Home Manufacturing, a Navy veteran and a member of the American Legion.

He is survived by his wife, Martha; one son, Tracy Scott Trollier of Las Vegas; one daughter, Tonya Bidenour of College Place, Wash.; one sister, Bette Cochrane of Conrad, Calif.; and four grandchildren.

Julie Diane Walker, 48, of Las Vegas died Tuesday in Las Vegas. She was born March 8, 1952, in Washington, D.C. A resident for 32 years, she was a retail area manager.

She is survived by her husband, Kenneth; one daughter, Lisa Derr of Copperas Cove, Texas; her mother, Virgina Fleming, one brother, Chip Kraft, and one sister, Kathleen Newman, all of Las Vegas; and two grandchildren.

Visitation is scheduled 4-8 p.m. Friday with a 6 p.m. rosary in Davis Paradise Valley Funeral Home, 6200 S. Eastern Ave. Services will be 1 p.m. Saturday in St. Anne Catholic Church, 1901 S. Maryland Parkway, Las Vegas, NV 89104.

Viola O. Weis

Viola O. Weis, 86, of Boulder City died Tuesday, in Henderson. She was born July 15, 1914, in Billings, Mont. She was a retired secretary for the U.S. Department of A Boulder City Chief of Police from 1951 to 1960agriculture.

She is survived by one daughter, Susan Hengen of Boulder City; three sons, Arthur Geisler of Las Mesa, Calif., Edward Owen of Alpine, Calif., and Robert Geisler of Salinas, Calif.; one sister, Millie Rabdau of Moscow, Idaho; one brother, Rick Owen of Ariel, Wash.; nine grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.

A memorial service is pending.

The family suggests donations to the Alzheimer's Association or to the Parkinson's Support Group of Southern Nevada.

Joseph-Jabbar T. Williams

Joseph-Jabbar T. Williams, 26, of Las Vegas died Saturday in Las Vegas. He was born Oct. 4, 1974, in Las Vegas. He was a security officer.

He is survived by three sisters, Josette Williams-Holmes and Jovan Williams, both of Las Vegas; and his grandparents, Pastor Pal Lee and Claude Childress, and his grandmother, Katie McHenry, all of Las Vegas.

Visitation will continue until 8 p.m. today in American Burial and Cremation Services, 310 Foremaster Lane. Services will be 1 p.m. Friday in New Bethel Baptist Church, 400 W. Adams Ave. Burial will be in Woodlawn Cemetery.

Harvey Ora Wood

Harvey Ora Wood, 78, of Pahrump died Tuesday in Pahrump. A resident for five years, he was born Oct. 13, 1922, in Colby, Wash.

He is survived by his wife, Joyce; one daughter, Joyce Bowser of Huntington Beach, Calif.; one son, Robert Wood of Monroe, La.; and one brother, Leonard Wood of Sacramento; five grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.

Services will be 10 a.m. Tuesday in Pahrump Family Mortuary, 2240 E. Calvada Blvd.
