Reno, 5-5, Senior
Statistics: 7 ppg, 5 apg, 3 spg
Noteworthy: Four-year starter; two-time member of Sun all-state first team; floor leader helped Huskies to 26-4 record, Sierra Division title and 4A state championship; committed just one turnover in team's three state tournament games;
Said Huskies coach Craig Campbell: "She's the best point guard in the state. People who know basketball know how much she meant to our team."
Bishop Gorman, 5-8, Senior
Statistics: 22 ppg, 8 rpg, 5 spg
Noteworthy: Four-year varsity starter; two-year member of Sun all-state first team; Gaels' top scorer led team to 26-4 record, Southwest Division title and an appearance in the 4A state tournament, where Gorman knocked off then-No. 1 McQueen; coaches' Southwest Division MVP.
Said Gaels coach Sheryl Krmpotich: "In the 12 years I've been coaching, I've never had a kid like her, and I probably never will. We call her coach Liz, because she's like an extension of our coaching staff out on the floor."
Silverado, 5-10, Senior
Statistics: 15.5 ppg, 7 rpg, 2.4 spg
Noteworthy: Three-year varsity starter; Skyhawks' leading scorer helped squad to 25-7 mark, Southeast Division title and an appearance in the 4A state tournament, where Silverado defeated Centennial to reach the semifinals; coaches' Southeast Division MVP.
Said Skyhawks coach Diane Hernandez: "She definitely picked her game up a whole level this year. She just had an outstanding senior season for us."
Reno, 6-0, Senior
Statistics: 12 ppg, 10 rpg, 3 spg
Noteworthy: Four-year varsity letterman; Huskies' co-captain (with Nunn); controlled glass for 4A state champs, who lost just four of 30 contests; member of coaches' All-Northern first team; 80 percent free throw shooter.
Said Huskies coach Craig Campbell: "Brita was our heart and soul emotionally. And she's an absolute warrior on the boards, tough as nails."
Galena, 6-2, Senior
Statistics: 14 ppg, 8 rpg, 3 bpg
Noteworthy: Three-year varsity starter; Co-MVP of High Desert Division; member of coaches' All-Northern Region first team; anchored Grizzlies' 2000 4A state title team; helped 2001 squad to 25-6 record, Northern Region championship and appearance in 4A state final; signed to play volleyball at Arizona.
Said Grizzlies coach Karen Friel: "This year, Kellie had to do a lot of things for us. She understood coming in what her role would be, that she'd have to step it up."

Noteworthy: After winning five games last season, coached Hawks to 20-9 record and second-place finish in Sierra Division.
