May Adams
May Adams, 78, of Las Vegas, died Saturday in Las Vegas. She was born July 16, 1922, in Pensacola, Fla. A resident for 29 years, she was a retired health caregiver.
A graveside service will be 2 p.m. Thursday in Boulder City Cemetery. Affordable Cremation and Burial Service, 2457 N. Decatur Blvd., is handling arrangements.
Deborah Lee Barr
Deborah Lee Barr, 43, of Henderson, died Thursday in Henderson. She was born April 3, 1957, in San Francisco. A resident for 26 years, she was a homemaker.
She is survived by one son, Brian Barr, one daughter Julie Barr, her father, Edward Barr, and one brother, James Murphy, all of Henderson; two sisters, Terri Lewis of Henderson and Deanna Murphy of Oregon; and one grandchild.
A memorial service will be 2 p.m. Thursday at Church at Las Vegas, 3388 S. Decatur Blvd. Valley Memorial Crematory, 4855 W. Desert Inn Road, is handling arrangements.
Kenneth 'Kendoez' Bradley
Kenneth "Kendoez" Bradley, 56, of Las Vegas died Saturday in a local hospital. He was born Dec. 9, 1944, in South Bend, Ind. A resident for nine years, he was a retired Air Force major and Desert Storm veteran, basketball coach at Valley High School and a member of the retired Veterans Association and Big Brothers Big Sister of Las Vegas.
He is survived by his wife Linda; two daughters, Agnes Wilson and Thre Bradley, both of Las Vegas; one son, Tracy Bradley of Oklahoma; his parents, Mary and Arthur Bradley, both of South Bend; two sisters, Patricia Williams of South Bend including his twin sister, Kathleen of Chicago; two brothers, Dennis Bradley of Chicago and Neil Bradley of Detroit; and four grandchildren.
Visitation is scheduled 10 a.m.-noon Friday in Palm Mortuary, 1325 N. Main St. Graveside services will be 1:30 p.m. Friday in Southern Nevada Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Boulder City. Palm Mortuary, 7600 S. Eastern Ave., is handling arrangements.

Perry Big John
Perry Big John, 50, of Las Vegas died Friday in Las Vegas. He was born April 10, 1950, in Tulsa, Okla. A resident for 42 years, he was a baker for 20 years and a member of Masonic Lodge 32.
He is survived by two daughters, Tracy Big John of North Las Vegas and Angelique Big John of Las Vegas; one brother, Farrell Big John Jr. of Las Vegas; and one grandchild.
Visitation was scheduled 11 a.m. until 1 p.m. services today in Nevada Funeral Service-Nevada Cremation or Burial Society, 2983 Fremont St.
Melvin Carter
Melvin Carter, 83, of North Las Vegas, died Friday, in Las Vegas. He was born March 28, 1917, in Columbia, Miss. A resident for 43 years, he was a retired linen control worker at the Stardust hotel and a former member of the Culinary Union.
He is survived by his wife of 43 years, Lucretia; three sons, John Carter and Melvin Carter Jr., both of Las Vegas, and Joe Carter of North Las Vegas; one daughter, Evelyn Newson of Columbia, Miss.; two brothers, Joe Carter and Charles Carter, and two sisters, Christine Pittman and Eloise DeVine, all of Las Vegas; four grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
Visitation is scheduled 3-7 p.m. Wednesday in Bunkers Mortuary, 925 Las Vegas Blvd. North. A funeral service will be 10 a.m. Thursday at Bunkers Chapel. Graveside services will be 11:30 a.m. Thursday in Southern Nevada Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Boulder City.
Hazel Case
Hazel Case, 65, of Las Vegas died Monday in a local hospital. She was born March 27, 1935, in Portsmouth, Ohio. A resident for 16 years, she was a retired restaurant manager and worked for the Salvation Army adult day care.
She is survived by one daughter, Barbara Weigel of Las Vegas; two sons, Dale Hinkley of Denver and David Hinkley of Henderson; one stepdaughter, Sandra L. Carper, and one stepson, Randy Case, both of Pennsylvania; two brothers, Thomas Wortman of Ohio and Robert Wortman of Florida; and seven grandchildren.
A memorial service is scheduled 3 p.m. Thursday in First Henderson United Methodist Church, 609 E. Horizon Drive, Henderson. Palm Mortuary, 800 S. Boulder Highway, Henderson, is handling arrangements.
James P. Cassese Sr.
James P. Cassese Sr., 77, of Henderson died Sunday in a local hospital. He was born Jan. 22, 1924, in Cliffside Park, N.J. A resident for one year, he was a retired general chairman for the Railroad Labor Union, a World War II Navy veteran and a lifetime member of the Brotherhood of Maintenance of Way Employees.
He is survived by his wife, Linda; two daughters, Sandra Hannigan of Liberty, Mo., and Michele Cassese of Toms River, N.J.; two sons, Charles Cassese of Taunton, Mass., and James Cassese Jr., of Lakewood, N.J.; one sister, Mary Cassese of Cliffside Park; and three grandchildren.
A prayer service is scheduled at 6 p.m. Thursday in St. Andrew's Catholic Church, 1399 San Felipe Drive, Boulder City. Mass will be celebrated 10 a.m. Friday in St. Andrew's Catholic Church. Palm Mortuary, 7600 S. Eastern Ave., is handling arrangements.

Paul Joseph Considine
Paul Joseph Considine, 65, of Henderson, died Sunday in Henderson. He was born Jan. 23, 1936, in Brooklyn, N.Y. A resident for 11 years, he was a retired firefighter and Army veteran.
He is surivived by his wife, Dru; three daughters, Kirsten Considine of Arlington, Texas, Nicole Considine of Denison, Texas, and Venicia Considine of Henderson; his mother, Grace Considine of Brooklyn; and one grandchild.

Harold R. Fields
Harold R. Fields, 82, of Henderson died Sunday in a local care center. He was born Nov. 5, 1919, in Columbus, Ga. A resident for 26 years, he was a retired hotel porter and a World War II Navy veteran.
He is survived by two daughters, Brenda Sutton of Ellerslie, Ga., and LaRhonda Kennedy of Las Vegas; one son, Larry Fields of Columbia, S.C.; one stepson, Thomas Grisset of Columbus, Ga.; and four grandchildren.

David Albert Gallegos
David Albert Gallegos, 41, of Las Vegas, died Feb. 25 in Las Vegas. He was born Oct. 2, 1959, in Hawthorne. A resident for seven years, he was a land surveyor for the state Department of Transportation for 21 years and a member of the Nevada Association of Land Surveyors.
He is survived by his wife, Cherrie of Las Vegas; his parents Robert and Carmel Gallegos of Yerington; two daughters, Monica Briggs and Erica Gallegos, both of Boise, Idaho; four stepsons, Terry George of Medford, Ore., Roby McKnight and Stephen McKnight, both of Tempe, Ariz., and Brian McKnight of Fallon; four sisters Kathy Rhinehart of Germany, Anita Barella of Sparks, Edna McCollum of Fernley and Susie Jilly of Mound House; four brothers Robert, James and Joseph, all of Carson City and John of Reno; his grandmother Candelaria Jaramillo of Hawthorne; and two grandchildren.

Elwood M. Harkcom, 65, of Las Vegas, died Friday in Las Vegas. He was born March 11, 1935, in Somerset, Pa. A resident for 30 years, he was a Vietnam War Air Force veteran.
He is survived by his wife, Shirley; two daughters, Karen Johnson of Las Vegas and Sharon Procter of Bullhead City, Ariz.; two sons, Dennis Harkcom of Soleotna, Alaska, and Michael Harkcom of Las Vegas; four brothers, William Harkcom, Luther Harkcom, James Harkcom and Michael Harkcom, all of Somerset; one sister, Bernice Gray of Orlando, Fla.; 11 grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be 4-7 p.m. Wednesday in Davis Paradise Valley Funeral Home, 6200 S. Eastern Ave. Services will be 10:30 a.m. Thursday in Southern Nevada Veteran's Memorial Cemetery in Boulder City.

Robert D. Holloway, 66, of Las Vegas died Saturday in North Las Vegas. He was born July 28, 1934, in Columbia, S.C. A resident for 30 years, he was a floorman in the gaming industry and a Korean War Air Force veteran.
He is survived by his wife, Dorothy; three daughters, Jeannetta Dixon and Wendy Smith, both of North Las Vegas, and Sabrina Williams of Columbia; one brother, Chester Ducksworth of North Las Vegas; one sister, Elizabeth Jacobs of Columbia; seven grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
Visitation is scheduled 4-8 p.m. Wednesday in American Burial and Cremation Services, 310 Foremaster Lane. Services will be 1 p.m. Thursday in American Burial and Cremation. Burial will be in Paradise Memorial Gardens.
Lee W. Jones
Lee W. Jones, 69, of Las Vegas, died Saturday in Las Vegas. He was born Sept. 12, 1931, in Fairfield, Ala. A resident for 52 years, he was a retired mining packer and a Korean War Air Force veteran.
He is survived by his wife, Sylena; two daughters, Deborah Witt of Las Vegas and Regina Bosket of Henderson; one son, Keith Jones of Las Vegas; one sister, Zuline Jones of Henderson; two brothers, Cleophus Jones Sr. of Las Vegas and Joe Louis Jones of Birmingham, Ala.; eight grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be 2-7 p.m. Wednesday in Palm Mortuary, 1325 North Main St. Services will be 1 p.m. Thursday in Second Baptist Church, 500 W. Madison Ave. Burial will follow in Palm Valley View Memorial Park.

Patricia Kist, 79, of Las Vegas died Friday in a local hospital. She was born Aug. 20, 1921, in Port Glasgow, Scotland. A resident for 41 years, she was a retired wardrobe mistress in the entertainment industry and a member of the International Alliance of Theatrical Stage Employees Local 720.
She is survived by two daughters, Sandy Edwards and Nancy Kist, and three brothers, Alan Kist, Dennis Kist and David Kist, all of Las Vegas; and 11 grandchildren.

Jerry Knight
Jerry Knight, 59, of Las Vegas, died Friday in Las Vegas. He was born July 4, 1941, in California. A resident for one year, he was a concrete contractor.
He is survived by his wife, Claudia; two sons, Scott Knight and Jason Knight; one daughter, Kimberly Knight; one sister, Beverly Foxx; and four grandchildren.

James Ross Long, 69, of Las Vegas died Feb. 14, in Las Vegas. He was born June 12, 1931, in Hebron, Neb. A resident for 30 years, he was a certified public accountant and a member of the Colorado River Commission.
He is survived by one son, Mark, and his companion, Dori Giehrl of Kingman, Ariz., and one grandchild.

Carl Marrone, 81, of Las Vegas died Feb. 26. He was born Oct. 12, 1919, in Massachusetts. A resident for 35 years, he was a maintenance worker in the gaming industry and an Army veteran.
He is survived by one brother, Egidio Marrone; two sisters, Lucy O'Malley of Massachusetts and Mercy Hughes of California.

Stanlee McDermott, 78, of Las Vegas, died Thursday in Las Vegas. A resident for two years, he was born Nov. 29, 1922, in New York City.
He is survived by two sons, G.L. Ross of Las Vegas and Christopher Ross of Elburn, Ill.; and two grandchildren.

Jimmy Monaco, 42, of Las Vegas died Friday in a local hospital. He was born March 17, 1958, in Chicago. A resident for 20 years, he was a security surveillance supervisor.
He is survived by his wife, Laura; one daughter, Jenny McLain, and one son, Alex Monaco, both of Las Vegas; his father, John Monaco of Chicago; his mother, Nancy Monaco, and one sister, Mary Gjonola, both of Henderson; two brothers, John Monaco of Las Vegas and Bill Monaco of Chicago; and one grandchild.

Roberta Kay Reneau, 57, of Henderson, died Feb. 26 in Henderson. She was born June 4, 1943, in McMinnville, Ore. A resident for four months, she was a reporter.
She is survived by her husband, Ronald; one son, Thomas Reneau of Sioux Falls, S.D.; her mother, Velda Stephenson of Grants Pass, Ore.; two brothers, Roger Stephenson of Fairbanks, Alaska, and Gordon Stephenson of Grants Pass.

Rosa M. Rios, 92, of Las Vegas died Saturday in a local hospital. She was born April, 13, 1908, in Peru. A resident for 24 years, she was a homemaker.
She is survived by one son, Jaime Rios, six daughters, Soledad Pike, Maria Rosa Benitas, Clara Lopez, Cristina Betanco, Lina Aney and Lucia Riofrio; 24 grandchildren and 25 great-grandchildren.

Roland Joseph Roy Jr.
Roland Joseph Roy Jr., 36, of Las Vegas, died Monday in a local hospital. He was born April 22, 1964, in Central Falls, R.I. A resident for five years, he was a hotel chef won a gold medal in Austria in 1994, and the Golden Plate Award at a competition in Coronado, Calif. He was also a graduate of the Culinary Institute of America.
He is survived by his parents, Roland Joseph Sr. and Deborah Roy of Las Vegas; three sisters, Jennifer Davila and Deborah Gibbs, both of Las Vegas, and Maureen Roy of San Jose, Calif.; and one brother, Bill Roy of San Jose.

He is survived by one son, John Samuel of Las Vegas; one brother, John Florou of Athens; three sisters, Anna Balason of Las Vegas and Athena Karthamitzi and Voula Stefas, both of Athens; and one grandchild.
Visitation is scheduled 5-8 p.m. Wednesday in American Burial and Cremation Services, 310 Foremaster Lane. Services will be 9:30 a.m. Thursday in St. John's Greek Orthodox Church, 5300 El Camino Road. Burial will be in Paradise Memorial Gardens.
Diana Lee Stiles
Diana Lee Stiles, 69, of Pahrump died Wednesday in Las Vegas. She was born Feb. 28, 1932, in Casper, Wyo. A resident for 23 years, she was a manager, a founding member of the Service Assistance Program, a member of the original Census Committee, Harvest Festival Board, Pahrump Town Board, Pahrump Community Hospital District Board, Pahrump Community Medical Center Board, Economic Development Board, Tourism Board, Republican Women and the Veterans of Foreign Wars Women's Auxiliary.
He is survived by her husband of 46 years, Gene "Chuck"; and one son, Ryan "Tami" Stiles of Pahrump.
A memorial service will be 4 p.m. Saturday in United Methodist Church. Pahrump Family Mortuary, 2240 E. Calvada Blvd., is handling arrangements.

She is survived by one daughter, Mary Elaine Kindell of Las Vegas; one son, Don Robert Waitman of Forsythe, Mont.; one sister, Donna Statia of Newport Beach, Calif.; seven grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren and three great-great-grandchildren.
Visitation will continue until 7 p.m. today with a 6 p.m. service in Palm Mortuary, 1325 N. Main St. Services will be noon Wednesday in St. Christopher's Catholic Church, 1840 N. Bruce St. Burial will follow in Palm Memorial Park.
Leo 'Pat' Wilson
Leo "Pat" Wilson, 61, of Las Vegas died Sunday in a local hospital. He was born March 17, 1939, in Long Beach, Calif. A resident for 21 years, he was a dispatcher for Nevada Power for 21 years, an Army veteran, a member of the Eagles Club and vice president of the American Power Dispatchers Association.
He is survived by his wife, Betty; two daughters, Michaela Schenk of Las Vegas and Terrill Fisher of Henderson; one son, Christopher Wilson of Las Vegas; one sister, Cindy Davis of Walnut Creek, Calif.; one brother, Leslie Wilson of Ventura, Calif.
