George Adams
George Adams, 44, of Las Vegas died Friday in Las Vegas. He was born Aug. 18, 1956, in New York. A resident for many years, he was a car salesman.
He is survived by his wife, Debbie; and one son, Tony Adams of Las Vegas.
Graveside services were scheduled at 10 a.m. today in Boulder City Cemetery, 501 Adams Blvd. Hites Funeral Services, 438 W. Sunset Road, Henderson, handled arrangements.
Joan Bock
Joan Bock, 66, of Las Vegas died Friday in a local care center. She was born Jan. 12, 1935, in New Jersey. A resident for six years, she worked in health care data entry.
She is survived by four sons, Arthur Bylsma, John Bylsma, Ray Bylsma and Myles Bylsma; two brothers, Timothy Bock and Raymond Bock Jr.; and five grandchildren.
Desert Memorial Cremation and Burial Society, 1111 Las Vegas Blvd. North, is handling private services.
Charles L. Duckett
Charles L. Duckett, 75, of Las Vegas died Sunday in Las Vegas. He was born Aug. 18, 1925, in Minneapolis. A resident for three years, he was a maintenance engineer for the city of Los Angeles, a Marine Corps veteran and a member of the Masons.
He is survived by his wife, Betty C.; two stepsons, Daniel Rhodes and William Rhodes; and one stepdaughter, Valencia Meteau; and six grandchildren.
Visitation is scheduled one hour prior to 10 a.m. services Thursday in the LDS stake center, 4400 W. Charleston Blvd. Burial will be 1:30 p.m. Friday in Southern Nevada Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Boulder City.
Samuel Ellison
Samuel Ellison, 80, of Las Vegas died Wednesday in Las Vegas. He was born Dec. 17, 1920, in Arkansas. A resident for 40 years, he was a foreman at the Nevada Test Site and a member of Laborers Local 872.
He is survived by one niece, Diane Boyd of Las Vegas.
Bunkers Mortuary, 925 Las Vegas Blvd. North, is handling private arrangements.
Jesus Hernandez
Jesus Hernandez, 78, of Las Vegas died Tuesday in a local hospital. He was born Jan. 1, 1923, in Mexico. A resident for 32 years, he was a retired casino porter.
He is survived by his wife, Simona; seven daughters, Elvia Moreno of El Paso, Texas, and Maria Rosaura Barreto, Elizabeth Pena, Irma Cooley, Estella Wilson, Guadalupe Tejeda and Alicia Hernandez, all of Las Vegas; four sons, Esteban Hernandez, Jesus Hernandez Jr., Oscar Hernandez and Juan Hernandez, all of Las Vegas; one sister, Concepcion Faulkner, and one brother, Isaac Hernandez, both of North Carolina; 28 grandchildren and 18 great-grandchildren.
Visitation will continue until 7 p.m. today and 8 a.m.-7 p.m. Friday in Palm Mortuary, 1325 N. Main St. Additional visitation is scheduled 9 a.m. until 2 p.m. services Saturday in Palm Mortuary, 7600 S. Eastern Ave. Burial will follow in Palm Valley View Memorial Park.
Elizabeth Louise Holaday
Elizabeth Louise Holaday, 89, of Las Vegas died Monday in Las Vegas. She was born March 11, 1912, in Laramie, Wyo. A resident for 50 years, she was a retired licensed practical nurse.
She is survived by two sons, Ronald Holaday of LaPine, Ore., and Leland Holaday of Las Vegas; one sister, Alice Grabowski of Colorado Springs, Colo.; six grandchildren, 23 great-grandchildren and four great-great-grandchildren.
Graveside services will be 3 p.m. Friday in Palm Memorial Park. Palm Mortuary, 1325 N. Main St., is handling arrangements.
Aline Johnson
Aline Johnson, 79, of Las Vegas died Friday in a local care center. She was born July 5, 1921, in Meridian, Miss. A resident for 35 years, she was a retired maid.
She is survived by five sons, Robert Dunn of Germany, Allen Johnson of Las Vegas and A.D. Honeycutt, Percy Honeycutt and Leroy Honeycut, all of New Orleans; one daughter, Faye C. Jordan of Hattiesburg, Miss.; four sisters, Mable Holliman of Las Vegas, Jessie Burton of Oakland, Calif., Ellabee Honeycutt of California and Cora Honeycutt of Columbia, Miss.; 11 grandchildren and 22 great-grandchildren.
Visitation is scheduled noon-7 p.m. Friday in Harrison-Ross Mortuaries, 2071 Las Vegas Blvd. North. Services will be 11 a.m. Saturday in Harrison-Ross Mortuaries. Burial will follow in Woodlawn Cemetery.
Gary L. King
Gary L. King, 50, of Las Vegas died Saturday in Las Vegas. He was born May 16, 1951, in Altadena, Calif. A resident for seven years, he was a carpenter and a member of Road Dogs of Las Vegas.
He is survived by two brothers, Tracy and Michael.

Marion Laisy and Oscar Laisy
Marion Laisy, 79, died Sunday and Oscar Laisy, 81, died April 16. Marion was born July 17, 1921, and Oscar was born Sept. 16, 1919, both in Ohio. Currently Las Vegas residents, Marion was a homemaker and a member of the Eastern Star and Oscar was an electrician who worked on alarm systems, was an Army veteran and a member of the Masons.
They are survived by one son, Bruce Robert Laisy; three daughters, Jeannette Elizabeth Laisy Preston, Jaquelyn Eliza Laisy Friese and Ruth Adrienne Laisy; five grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.

Billy Eugene Lee
Billy Eugene Lee, 74, of Las Vegas died Tuesday in a local hospital. He was born Feb. 27, 1927, in Colton, Calif. A resident for 50 years, he was a retired truck driver for a hydroconduit company and a World War II Army veteran.
He is survived by his wife, Dorothea; one sister, Roberta Blomberg of Hemet, Calif.; and one grandchild.
A memorial service will be 4 p.m. Saturday in the Masonic Temple, 632 E. Charleston Blvd. Nevada Funeral Service-Nevada Cremation or Burial Society, 2983 Fremont St., is handling arrangements.
Victor Lee
Victor Lee, of Las Vegas died Monday in Las Vegas. He was born Sept. 24, 1910, in Hurricane, Utah. A resident for 70 years, he was a retired landscaper at the Desert Inn Country Club, a World War II Army veteran and a member of the Teamsters and Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 1753.
He is survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation is scheduled 3-6 p.m. today in Bunkers Mortuary, 925 Las Vegas Blvd. North. Graveside services will be 2 p.m. Friday in Woodlawn Cemetery.
Raymond Charles Ordish
Raymond Charles Ordish, 38, of Las Vegas died Monday in Las Vegas. He was born Dec. 27, 1962, in Phoenix. A resident for 36 years, he was a general laborer.
He is survived by one son, Christopher C. Ordish of Las Vegas; his father, Raymond Earl Ordish of Saginaw, Mich.; three brothers, Stephen Ordish of Taylor, Mich., Paul Ordish of Henderson and Leonard Ordish of Las Vegas; and one sister, Roslynn Clark of Henderson.
A memorial service will be 2 p.m. Friday in Community Lutheran Church, 3720 E. Tropicana Ave. Davis Paradise Valley Funeral Home, 6200 S. Eastern Ave., is handling arrangements.
Shannon Marie Osborn
Shannon Marie Osborn, 28, of Las Vegas died Sunday in Las Vegas. She was born Oct. 23, 1972, in Manhattan, Kan. A resident for seven years, she was a sales clerk at HomePlace, a former nanny and day-care teacher at KinderCare.
She is survived by her parents, Thomas and Cathy Osborn of Manhattan; one brother, Ryan Osborn of Prairie Village, Kan.; her grandparents, Robert and Velma Osborn, Louis Osbourn, and her great-grandmother, Lula Ehm, all of Manhattan.
Palm Mortuary, 7600 S. Eastern Ave., is handling arrangements.

Gail Diane Raimon
Gail Diane Raimon, 59, of Las Vegas died Monday in a local hospice. She was born Aug. 6, 1941, in Michigan. A resident for two months, she was a retired government worker.
She is survived by her husband, Steamy; and two brothers, Warren Rigdon and Alan Rigdon.

Ralph Edward Smith Jr.
Ralph Edward Smith Jr., 58, of Las Vegas died Tuesday in a local hospital. He was born Sept. 1, 1942, in Milwaukee. A resident for 17 years, he was a tool and die maker for a machine shop and a Vietnam War Army veteran.
He is survived by his wife, Sandra Jean; two daughters, Stephanie Ann Whitaker and Stacey Ann Smith, both of Las Vegas; and one grandchild.
A memorial service will be 9 a.m. Friday in Palm Mortuary, 7400 W. Cheyenne Ave.
Lilly A. Sorenson
Lilly A. Sorenson, 90, of Las Vegas died Friday in a local care center. She was born March 20, 1911, in Horicon, Wis. A resident for 26 years, she was a homemaker.
She is survived by two daughters, Joan Logan of Las Vegas and Jean Mahrous of Phoenix; one brother, Russell Brustmann of Talmadge, Ohio; six grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.

Jake Spearman
Jake Spearman, 51, of Las Vegas died Saturday in a local health care center. He was born May 30, 1950, in Terrell, Texas. A resident for three years, he was a sous chef for the Red Lion Inn and Landry's.
He is survived by his wife, Cynthia; one son, Christoff Spearman of LaVerne, Calif.; two daughters, Nena Carpenter of Las Vegas and Kathleen Bryan of LaVerne; his mother, Ella Gaines of Las Vegas; and one grandchild.
Visitation is scheduled 2-4 p.m. Friday in Desert Memorial Cremation and Burial Society, 1111 Las Vegas Blvd. North.
Matilda 'Tillie' Thomason
Matilda "Tillie" Thomason, 87, of Las Vegas died Tuesday in a local care center. She was born Dec. 28, 1913, in Fresno, Calif. A resident for six years, she was a retired business owner and homemaker.
She is survived by one son, Leo Thomason of Las Vegas; one daughter, Suzanne Canull of Carmel, Ind.; one sister, Mary Britton, and one brother, Mike Langiano, both of Fresno, Calif.; and four grandchildren.
Private services will be in Fresno. Palm Mortuary, 1600 S. Jones Blvd., is handling arrangements.

Ina M. 'Bunny' Zick
Ina M. "Bunny" Zick, 78, of Las Vegas died Tuesday in Las Vegas. She was born Feb. 20, 1923, in Wisconsin. A resident for eight years, she was retired from the Wisconsin insurance commissioner's office and a member at-large of the Daughters of the American Revolution.
She is survived by one daughter, Marilyn Sapienza of Las Vegas; and two grandsons.
