Nevada families needed as hosts
Pacific Intercultural Exchange is looking for host families in Nevada for 22 high school students from Belgium, Brazil, Germany, Thailand, Vietnam, Moldova, Ukraine, Russia and Kazakstan.
The boys and girls will begin arriving in August to spend the coming semester or school year with a caring host family while attending the local high school.
The students are pre-screened, speak English, and prepared for the exchange. They have medical insurance and their own spending money to cover such things as clothing, school supplies, and entertainment.

Latin Chamber to hold tournament
The Latin Chamber of Commerce will hold its 14th annual Southwestern Regional Golf Tournament beginning 6:30 a.m. with registration and 7 a.m. with a shotgun start Saturday at the Paiute Resort Golf Course.
The golf course is located off the Snow Mountain exit of U.S. 95 past the exit to Kyle Canyon.
