Mary Adamovich

Mary Adamovich, 84, of Las Vegas died Thursday in Las Vegas. She was born June 25, 1916, in Edwardsville, Pa. A resident for 33 years, she was a homemaker.

She is survived by one daughter, Rita O'Donnell of Manassas, Va.; one sister, Ann Tanona of Exeter, Pa.; two grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

Graveside services were scheduled at 9 a.m. today in Palm Memorial Park. Palm Mortuary, 1325 N. Main St., handled arrangements.

Bernice M. Aldrich

Bernice M. Aldrich, 79, of Las Vegas died June 17 in a local hospital. She was born Dec. 26, 1921, in Illinois. A resident for 27 years, she was a homemaker.

She is survived by three sons, William S. Aldrich and James C. Aldrich, both of Denver, and John F. Aldrich of Las Vegas; one daughter, Laura L. Rome of Aurora, Colo.; and five grandchildren.

Martin George Bosselman

Martin George Bosselman, 79, of Boulder City died Sunday in a local hospital. He was born Feb. 19, 1922, in Capron, Ill. A resident for 26 years, he was a retired carpenter, owner of the Woodcrafter Shop in Boulder City and a World War II Marine Corps veteran.

He is survived by his wife, LaVerne; two daughters, Ruth Vineyard of Las Vegas and Cristine Bosselman of Boulder City; two sons, Lonny Bosselman and Martin Bosselman, both of San Diego; one brother, Robert Bosselman of Rockford, Ill.; and three grandchildren.

Palm Mortuary, 800 S. Boulder Highway, Henderson, is handling arrangements.

David Davidson, 50, of North Las Vegas died May 30 in North Las Vegas. He was born March 4, 1951, and was disabled.

Claudia Drew

Claudia Drew, 63, of Las Vegas died Friday in Las Vegas. She was born Dec. 5, 1937, in Missouri. A resident for 16 years, she was a housing management assistant for the state of Nevada.

She is survived by her husband, Michael; two sons, Mark and Dennis; four daughters, Marcia, Diane, Susan and Lisa; her mother, Wanda; one brother, Henry; three sisters, Vicki, Janis and Paula; 10 grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.

Desert Memorial Cremation and Burial Society, 1111 Las Vegas Blvd. North, is arranging private family services.

Forouzandeh G. Eubanks

Forouzandeh G. Eubanks, 63, of Las Vegas died Monday in a local hospital. She was born April 8, 1938, in Tehran, Iran. A resident for 24 years, she was a retired dealer.

She is survived by one son, B.J. Missaghi of Las Vegas; four brothers, Erik Ghavidel, Sirous Ghavidel, Behrooz Ghavidel and Nickrooz Ghavidel; and one sister, Nahid Ghavidel; and two grandchildren.

Louis Garfinkel

Louis Garfinkel, 73, of Las Vegas died Sunday in a local hospital. He was born July 17, 1927, in New York City. A resident for 11 years, he was a retired restaurateur, a World War II Army veteran and a member of Knights of Pythias.

He is survived by his wife, Bea; one son, Steven Garfinkel of Woodland Hills, Calif.; two daughters, Mindy Tubin and Melanie Cortez, and one sister, Rose Lerman, all of Las Vegas; two brothers, Phil Garfinkel of Chatsworth, Calif., and Walter Garfinkel of Phoenix; and four grandchildren.

Services will be 11 a.m. Wednesday in King David Memorial Chapel and Cemetery, 2697 Eldorado Lane. Graveside services will be 12:30 p.m. Wednesday in Southern Nevada Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Boulder City.

Barbara 'Bunny' Grossman

Barbara "Bunny" Grossman, 66, of Henderson died Monday in Henderson. She was born April 24, 1935, in Camden, N.J. A resident for 10 years, she was a retired hospital lab technician.

She is survived by her husband, Al; one daughter, Denise Brandon of San Jose, Calif.; and one sister, Leslie Michaels of Charlotte, N.C.

Norman Lewis 'Country Music' Hileman

Norman Lewis "Country Music" Hileman, 66, of Las Vegas died Sunday in Las Vegas. He was born May 23, 1935, in Illinois. A resident for 44 years, he was a truck driver for Ready Mix Co. and an Air Force veteran.

He is survived by his wife, Nekita; three sons, Rustin Hileman of Las Vegas and Eric Hileman and Michael Hileman, both of Denver; one stepdaughter, Nicole Perkins of Charlotte, N.C.; his mother, Dorothy Hileman, and one sister, Shirley Miller, both of Morristown, Tenn.; two grandchildren and two step-grandchildren.

Visitation is scheduled 3-7 p.m. Wednesday in Bunkers Mortuary, 925 Las Vegas Blvd. North. Services will be 9:30 a.m. Thursday in Bunkers Chapel. Burial will follow in Southern Nevada Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Boulder City.

Lawrence Jeffrey Hill

Lawrence Jeffrey Hill, 60, of Las Vegas died Sunday in Las Vegas. He was born July 12, 1940, in Pasadena, Calif. A resident for three months, he was a district supervisor of the Union Pacific Railroad and a Vietnam War Army veteran.

He is survived by his wife, Jean M.; two daughters, Alice Simmons and Vivian Hill, both of Omaha, Neb.; two brothers, James Hill of Laguna Hills, Calif., and George D. Hill of Brunswick, Maine; and one grandchild.

Howard Leon Jackson

Howard Leon Jackson, 71, of Pahrump died June 2 in a local hospice. He was born Feb. 28, 1929, in Ragtown, Texas. A resident for three years, he was a retired aerospace engineer and an Air Force veteran.

He is survived by his wife, Olwyn; one son, Gareth Jackson; two daughters, Melissa Hoopes and Kendra Howland; two brothers, Pat Jackson and Larry Jackson; one sister, Juanita Jackson; and four grandchildren.

Suzann P. Jarvis

Suzann P. Jarvis, 66, of Henderson died Friday in a local hospital. She was born March 14, 1935, in San Antonio. A resident for 11 years, she was a retired financial analyst for a restaurant.

Visitation is scheduled 4-7 p.m. Wednesday in Palm Mortuary, 7600 S. Eastern Ave. Services will be noon Thursday in Palm Chapel, Eastern.

Charles Colburn Kampe

Charles Colburn Kampe, 72, of Las Vegas died Wednesday in Las Vegas. He was born Nov. 27, 1928, in Texas. A resident for 17 years, he was a retired Navy veteran, a member of the Masons and the Veterans of Foreign Wars.

He is survived by his wife, Maria F.; one son, Carlo Magno; three daughters, Minddie Lloyd, Konni Garlitos and Cyndee Magno; two brothers, Kenneth Karl Kampe and William Joseph Kampe; two sisters, Edna Annie Beeson and Mary Lou Kampe; and 11 grandchildren.

A memorial service will be 11 a.m. Friday in Southern Nevada Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Boulder City. Desert Memorial Cremation and Burial Society, 1111 Las Vegas Blvd. North, is handling arrangements.

Richard Leyser, 49, of Las Vegas died Friday in a local hospital. He was born July 31, 1951, in Chicago. A resident for 15 years, he was a retired delivery driver for a restaurant.

He is survived by six daughters, Karen Seabaugh, Mindy Leyser and Debbie Leyser, all of Arvada, Colo., and Lena Leyser, Lisa Leyser and Linda Leyser, all of Las Vegas; his mother, Evelyn Praat of the Netherlands; one sister, Cathy Piese of Thornton, Colo.; two brothers, Robert Leyser and Fred Leyser, both of Las Vegas; and two grandchildren.

Erma H. McCoy, 75, of Las Vegas died May 23 in Las Vegas. She was born Jan. 16, 1926, in Reading, Pa. A resident for three years, she was a homemaker.

She is survived by one daughter, Janice Gilbert; one sister, Eva McCoy of Reading; one granddaughter and five great-granddaughters.

Felicidad Andongo McHardy

Felicidad Andongo McHardy, 88, of Las Vegas died Saturday in Las Vegas. She was born April 9, 1913, in the Philippines. A resident for 40 years, she was a teacher.

She is survived by one son, Richard McHardy Sherman, and two brothers, Joe Andongo and Juileto Andongo, both of Las Vegas; two sisters, Eva Davidson of Las Vegas and Sandra Hopper of Tulsa, Okla.; two grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.

No local services are scheduled. Burial will be in California. Hites Funeral Services, 438 W. Sunset Road, Henderson, is handling arrangements.

Edith Lynn McKay-Lobb

Edith Lynn McKay-Lobb, 53, of Las Vegas died Wednesday in Las Vegas. She was born July 2, 1947, in California. A resident for 21 years, she was a restaurateur.

She is survived by her husband, Victor; one son, Tom McKay; two daughters, Allison McKay and Michelle McKay-Ball; one sister, Carol Allison; and five grandchildren.

Goldie Margaret Melquist

Goldie Margaret Melquist, 28, of Las Vegas died Saturday in a local hospice. She was born Aug. 5, 1907, in Minneapolis. A resident for 28 years, she was a homemaker.

She is survived by one son, William Melquist Sr. of Las Vegas; one grandchild and four great-grandchildren.

Suphot Porntharavongse, 54, of Las Vegas died Saturday in Las Vegas. He was born Jan. 1, 1947, in Bangkok, Thailand. A resident for 30 years, he was a maintenance worker.

He is survived by one son, Chris Porntharavongse of Chicago; and one daughter, Lea Porntharavongse of Wenatchee, Wash.

Mary E. Rasmussen

Mary E. Rasmussen, 76, of Las Vegas died Sunday in a local care center. She was born July 20, 1924, in Brooklyn, N.Y. A resident for 51 years, she was a homemaker, a member of the Eastern Star and a volunteer at Sunrise Hospital and for the visually impaired.

She is survived by her husband, Erling; two daughters, Ivy Rasmussen of Las Vegas and Erline Rasmussen of Boston; one brother, John Newman, and two sisters, Theresa Newman and Peggy Orfei, all of White Plains, N.Y.; and three grandchildren.

Visitation is scheduled 4-7 p.m. Thursday in Palm Mortuary, 1600 S. Jones Blvd. Services will be 1 p.m. Friday in Palm Chapel, Jones. Burial will follow at 2:30 p.m. Friday in Palm Valley View Memorial Park.

Charles S. Rock

Charles S. Rock, 73, of North Las Vegas died Sunday in Las Vegas. He was born Jan. 10, 1928, in Newton, Mass. A resident for 20 years, he was a retired marketing and development public relations specialist, a Marine Corps veteran who served for six years and a graduate of the University of Colorado and Brookes Institute in California.

He is survived by his wife, Nancy; three daughters, Cindy Brannum, Becky Petrimoulx and Jody Miller, all of Las Vegas; one brother, Frank Rock of North Carolina; 10 grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.

Rubel Roybal

Rubel Roybal, 89, of North Las Vegas died Saturday in a local hospital. He was born Oct. 12, 1911, in Santa Fe, N.M. A resident for 49 years, he was a retired carpenter and a member of Carpenters Local 1780.

He is survived by one daughter, Dora Gandulla of North Las Vegas; five sons, Gilbert M. Roybal, Danny T. Roybal, Leroy G. Roybal, Bill R. Roybal and Bob F. Roybal, all of Las Vegas; one sister, Senida Chavez of Santa Fe; 21 grandchildren and 19 great-grandchildren.

Visitation is scheduled 2-7 p.m. Wednesday with a 6 p.m. service in Palm Mortuary, 1325 N. Main St. Services will be 10 a.m. Thursday in St. Christopher's Catholic Church, 1840 N. Bruce St. Burial will be noon Thursday in Palm Memorial Park.

Antonio Solis

Antonio Solis, 80, of Las Vegas died Saturday in Las Vegas. He was born Jan. 17, 1921, in the Philippines. A resident for two years, he was a retired aircraft mechanic.

He is survived by his wife, Bay; six daughters, Lorna Correa, Concepcion Solis, Aurora Solis and Linda Berin, all of the Philippines, Elenita Solis of Las Vegas and Teresa Solis of San Diego; six sons, Felecito Solis, Antonio Solis Jr., Rommel Solis and Roberto Solis, all of the Philippines, and August Trung Solis and Darius Antonio Solis, both of Las Vegas; 24 grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren.

Daniel J. Varian, 42, of Las Vegas died Sunday in a local hospital. He was born March 18, 1959, in Paterson, N.J. A resident for 23 years, he was a retired painter.

He is survived by his wife, Barbara; two daughters, Danielle Varian and Charlene Varian, one son, Daniel Varian II, his mother, Lucille Varian, one sister, Diane Marchese, and one brother, Roy Varian, all of Las Vegas.

Robert J. Velasquez

Robert J. Velasquez, 47, of Las Vegas died Sunday in St. George, Utah. He was born Feb. 20, 1954, in El Paso, Texas. A resident for 27 years, he was an owner-operator of an automobile repair shop.

He is survived by his wife, Laureen; one daughter, Sara Velasquez, one son, Robert Velasquez II, his mother, Verna Velasquez, and one brother, Don Velasquez, all of Las Vegas; and two sisters, Donna Hazen of Las Vegas and Susan Shepherd of Alta Loma, Calif.

George Carl Wilhelms

George Carl Wilhelms, 88, of Las Vegas died Monday in Las Vegas. He was born Feb. 23, 1913, in Philadelphia. A resident for 16 years, he was a retired commercial artist in the advertising industry and a World War II Army veteran serving in the Big Red One and the invasion of Normandy.

He is survived by one daughter, Gale Langford of Palm Beach Gardens, Fla.
