Men steal ATM machine

SHREVEPORT, La. -- Police are looking for three men who used a minivan, a hand truck, brute strength and daring to steal an automatic teller machine before dawn Monday from the Hollywood Casino. The amount of money inside the ATM was not disclosed.
Using a two-wheeled dolly, the men loaded the Hibernia Bank ATM from a corridor that leads into the second floor lobby area about 1 a.m. Monday. The 5-foot tall ATM was hauled into the parking lot and shoved into the minivan, according to police.
The machine was not bolted to the floor or wall, and the suspects left little more than a bare spot on the floor where the ATM had been, investigators said.
The vehicle passed at least eight video security monitors -- including one near the doorway -- on the way out of the garage. At least one of the monitors caught images of the suspects.
