Bina Bernard
Bina Bernard, 75, of Las Vegas died Friday in Las Vegas. She was born Oct. 21, 1925, in New York. A resident for 20 years, she was in public relations for a television station.
She is survived by her husband, Joseph; one son, Sam Bernard of California; and one daughter, Bella Julie Bernard of Henderson.
Hites Funeral Services, 438 W. Sunset Road, Henderson, is handling pending arrangements.
Elsie Bracknies
Elsie Bracknies, 81, of Las Vegas died Thursday in a local hospital. She was born April 3, 1920, in Fort Frances, Ontario. A resident for 34 years, she was a homemaker.
She is survived by two sisters, Kay Cox of Chicago and Anita Rollens of Granada Hills, Calif.
Visitation is scheduled one hour prior to a 2 p.m. service Tuesday in Palm Mortuary, 7600 S. Eastern Ave. Burial will follow in Palm Valley View Memorial Park.
Guy R. Burt
Guy R. Burt, 82, of Las Vegas died Saturday in a local hospital. He was born Sept. 29, 1918, in Arcadia, Wis. A resident for 31 years, he was a retired brick mason and a World War II Army veteran.
He is survived by his wife, Gertrude June; three daughters, Judith Beltz of Huron, S.D., and Sharon Devine and Sandra Kraus, both of Las Vegas; three sons, Richard Burt and Allyn Burt, both of Pahrump, and Wallace Burt of Plainview, Minn.; one brother, Raymond Burt of Trempealeau, Wis.; 19 grandchildren, 17 great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild.
Palm Mortuary, 7600 S. Eastern Ave., is handling arrangements.
Mildred L. Campbell
Mildred L. Campbell, 84, of Las Vegas died Friday in a local hospital. She was born Jan. 27, 1917, in Adair County, Iowa. A resident for 22 years, she was a retired buyer in the retail business.
She is survived by two daughters, Sharon Blakley of Broomfield, Colo., and Carol Woods of Las Vegas; two sons, Charles R. Campbell of Plano, Texas, and Larry Campbell of Las Vegas; eight grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
Palm Mortuary, 1600 S. Jones Blvd., is arranging private services.
Dorothy 'Dotsie' Dugmore
Dorothy "Dotsie" Dugmore, 83, of Las Vegas died Wednesday in a local hospice. She was born Aug. 2, 1917, in Hartford, Conn. A resident for 20 years, she was a homemaker.
She is survived by her husband, Stan; one son, Dan Dugmore of Nashville, Tenn.; one sister, Alice Austin of Burlington, Vt.; five grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
Visitation is scheduled one hour prior to 3 p.m. services Monday in Palm Mortuary, 1600 S. Jones Blvd.
The family suggests donations to the Nathan Adelson Hospice, 4141 S. Swenson St., Las Vegas, NV 89119.
Nancy L. Goodwin
Nancy L. Goodwin, 63, of Las Vegas died Saturday in a local hospice. She was born March 17, 1938, in West Virginia. A resident for 20 years, she was a retired retail cashier.
She is survived by one daughter, Susan Butler of Las Vegas; one brother, Paul Carte of Pennsylvania; three grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
Affordable Cremation and Burial Service, 2457 N. Decatur Blvd., is handling arrangements.
Helen H. Kehus
Helen H. Kehus, 84, of Bishop, Calif., died Wednesday in Bishop. She was a former Las Vegas resident of 20 years.
She is survived by one son, Wayne; one grandson, Kevin; and one great-grandson, Tomas.
No services will be held.
Un Sup Lee
Un Sup Lee, 76, of Las Vegas died Saturday in Las Vegas. She was born March 7, 1925, in Yongin, Korea. A resident for 18 years, she was a homemaker.
She is survived by one son, Young Lee of Las Vegas; two daughters, Young Soon and Bok Soon, and two sisters, Myung Sup Chung and Oak Sup Chung, all of Korea.
Visitation will continue until 7 p.m. today in Bunkers Mortuary, 925 Las Vegas Blvd. North. Services will be 1 p.m. Tuesday in the LDS Church-Sunny View Ward. Burial will follow in Woodlawn Cemetery.
Lee Michael Moran Jr.
Lee Michael Moran Jr., 8, of Las Vegas died Wednesday in Las Vegas. He was born Aug. 22, 1992, in Phoenix. He was a resident for four months.
He is survived by his mother, Sherri Lee Frost Moran of Las Vegas.
Visitation was scheduled 3-5 p.m. today in Bunkers Mortuary, 925 Las Vegas Blvd. North. Services will be 10 a.m. Tuesday in St. Joseph, Husband of Mary Catholic Church, 7260 W. Sahara Ave. Burial will follow in Paradise Memorial Gardens.
Jason Shane Sosa
Jason Shane Sosa, 19, of Las Vegas died Friday in Las Vegas. He was born June 30, 1981, in California. A resident for nine months, he was a carpenter.
He is survived by his mother, Faith Qualtieri, and his father, Ricky Sosa, both of Fallon.
No local services are scheduled. Burial will be in Fallon. Hites Funeral Services, 438 W. Sunset Road, Henderson, is handling arrangements.
Patricia Sumpolee
Patricia Sumpolee, 75, of Las Vegas died Friday in a local hospital. She was born Jan. 2, 1926, in East Moline, Ill. A resident for 45 years, she was a homemaker.
She is survived by her husband, John.
Graveside services will be noon Tuesday in Memory Gardens, 7251 W. Lone Mountain Road. Palm Mortuary, 1325 N. Main St., is handling arrangements.
William Lawrence Tindle Sr.
William Lawrence Tindle Sr., 64, of Las Vegas died Saturday in Las Vegas. He was born March 3, 1937, in Jefferson County, Ala. A resident for eight years, he was a retired operating engineer and an Air Force veteran.
He is survived by his wife, Kathryn; two daughters, Betty Jo Tindle of Las Vegas and Ludeanne Guenther of Fort Polk, La.; two sons, William L. Tindle Jr. of El Cajon, Calif., and Wesley D. Tindle of Las Vegas; three sisters, Betty Mattaro of El Cajon and Martha Moran and Phoebe Tindle, both of Birmingham, Ala.; one brother, Wayne Tindle of Fort Payne, Ala.; and 14 grandchildren.
