The name of a 43-year-old homeless man stabbed to death by another homeless man last month was released as John Korreckt.
Timothy Fay, 39, was charged with murder and accused of stabbing Korreckt about 10:15 p.m. on May 31 in a desert area near Stewart Avenue and Spectrum Boulevard.
Fay told police two other homeless men robbed him as he was sleeping, and he stabbed a third man he believed was involved. Police say Korreckt was not involved in the robbery.
