Letter: Notch babies are crybabies

Notch babies? Hah! Crybabies is more like it. Don't let their incessant whining fool you. The crybabies' demands are based on pure greed, not justice.

All of us born after 1921 receive the same percentage benefit from Social Security. Everyone born prior to 1921, including the so called "notch" group, receives a higher percentage benefit. Not a lower benefit, a higher benefit! The "notch" group receives more, not less, than the rest of us!

And now, spineless politicians like Sens. Harry Reid, John Ensign and Rep. Shelley Berkley are proposing to take even more of the tax dollars that the rest of us have paid out of our already meager benefits, so that these whining crybabies can get an even bigger benefit? That is the absolute height of stupidity!
