Patricia L. Aginiga
Patricia L. Aginiga, 60, of Boulder City died Monday in a local hospital. She was born Jan. 26, 1941, in Oklahoma. A resident for 30 years, she was a retired gift shop saleswoman.
She is survived by one daughter, Michale Wilborn, and two sons, Steve Aginiga Jr. and Tom Aginiga, all of Boulder City; her father, Kenneth McLaughlin of Flagstaff, Ariz.; one sister, Claudine Schira of Phoenix; three brothers, Eddie McLaughlin of Phoenix and Bill McLaughlin and Paul McLaughlin, both of Flagstaff; nine grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
A memorial service will be 10 a.m. Monday in St. Andrew's Catholic Church, 1399 San Felipe Drive, Boulder City. Palm Mortuary, 800 S. Boulder Highway, Henderson, is handling arrangements.
Mary E. Bennett
Mary E. Bennett, 77, of Las Vegas died Sunday in a local hospital. She was born July 22, 1923, in East St. Louis, Ill. A resident for nine years, she was a homemaker.
She is survived by two daughters, Sue Ann Dirham of Odenton, Md., and Diana Lynn Eaton of Palmer Lake, Colo.; two sons, William Douglas Bennett of Chapel Hill, N.C., and James Wesley Bennett of Rancho Santa Margarita, Calif.; and four grandchildren.
Visitation is scheduled 10-11 a.m. Thursday Palm Mortuary, 7600 S. Eastern Ave. Graveside services will follow in Palm Valley View Memorial Park.

Donald M. Benson
Donald M. Benson, 73, of North Las Vegas died Saturday in North Las Vegas. He was born April 14, 1928, in Ontario, Calif. A resident for 13 years, he was a retired owner-operator in the agriculture industry, an Army veteran and a member of the U.S. Army Pistol Team.
He is survived by his wife, Verdah Morgan; three daughters, Carolyn Loftus of Idaho Falls, Idaho, Diana Layton of Wickenburg, Ariz., and Beverly Benson of Rock Falls, Ill.; two sons, Gilbert "Cole" Benson of Kailua Kona, Hawaii, and Erik Benson of Las Vegas; one brother, William Benson of Porterville, Calif.; and 10 grandchildren.
Visitation is scheduled 2-7 p.m. Wednesday in Palm Mortuary, 7400 W. Cheyenne Ave.

Donald C. Bettis
Donald C. Bettis, 78, of Las Vegas died Monday in a local hospital. He was born Dec. 22, 1922,in Oak Park, Minn. A resident for 38 years, he was a retired salesman of automobiles and real estate, a World War II Army veteran, a lifetime member of the Sertoma Club, a member of the Shriners and a 32nd Degree Mason.
He is survived by his wife, Beulah; two daughters, Carol Giffen and Barbara Sinfonico, both of Denver; one son, David Bettis of Boise, Idaho; one stepson, David Winters of Boulder, Colo.; his mother, Pearl Bettis of Milaca, Minn.; three sisters, Vivian Robb of St. George, Utah, Mary Louise Shoolery of Santa Barbara, Calif., and Milly Beggs of Lake City, Fla.; five grandchildren and 20 great-grandchildren.
Visitation is scheduled 2-7 p.m. today in Palm Mortuary, 1325 N. Main St. Services will be 1 p.m. Wednesday in Palm Chapel, Main.

Gretis B. Brown
Gretis B. Brown, 86, of Las Vegas died Saturday in Las Vegas. She was born May 10, 1915, in Las Vegas. A resident for 36 years, she was a homemaker.
She is survived by two sons, Walter B. Brown of Henderson and Tom Crozier of San Diego; two grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.

Henry V. Brylski
Henry V. Brylski, 62, of Las Vegas died Saturday in a local hospital. He was born June 15, 1939, in Brooklyn, N.Y. A resident for four years, he was a retired supervisor in the transportation field and a Marine Corps veteran.
He is survived by his wife, Barbara; two sons, Thomas Brylski of Las Vegas and Steven Brylski of Queens, N.Y.; and three grandchildren.
A memorial service will be 3:30 p.m. Wednesday in Palm Mortuary, 1600 S. Jones Blvd.
Gail Fraser Carey
Gail Fraser Carey, 71, of Las Vegas died May 25 in a local convalescent center. She was born Aug. 28, 1929, in Stamford, Conn. A resident for 48 years, she was a homemaker.
She is survived by one daughter, Joni Corley of Pollock Pines, Calif.

Hazel A. Carmichael
Hazel A. Carmichael, 62, of Las Vegas died Sunday in Las Vegas. She was born Jan. 9, 1939, in Coatesville, Pa. A resident for many years, she was an operations officer for a bank.
She is survived by her husband, William.

Evelyn Lena Cash
Evelyn Lena Cash, 87, of Las Vegas died Wednesday in a local care center. She was born May 13, 1914, in Butte, Mont. A resident for 42 years, she was a retired flower arranger from Woolworth's on Fremont St.
She is survived by one son, David Cash of Las Vegas; and five grandchildren.
Services will be 7 p.m. Wednesday in Advent United Methodist Church, 3460 N. Rancho Drive. Burial will be private. Davis Funeral Home, 2127 W. Charleston Blvd., is handling arrangements.
Jay Michael Chojnacki
Jay Michael Chojnacki, 40, of Las Vegas died Saturday in a local hospital. He was born Aug. 17, 1960, in Milwaukee. A resident for 20 years, he was a retail sales manager.
He is survived by his wife, Sheena Lee Harrison; one daughter, Jacqueline Chojnacki, and one son, Anthony Chojnacki, both of Las Vegas; two sisters, Julie Chojnacki and Jean Chojnacki, and one brother, Jo Chojnacki, all of Wisconsin.

Manuel Cisneros
Manuel Cisneros, 81, of Las Vegas died May 24 in a local hospital. He was born July 29, 1919, in Alcuthin, Spain. He retired from Boeing after 23 years as an aircraft technician, researcher and developer and was a World War II and Korean War Army and Air Force veteran.
He is survived by one son, Alex of New Castle, Del.

Barbara Clark, 70, of Pahrump died Sunday in Las Vegas. She was born Aug. 16, 1930, in Wisconsin. A resident for 11 years, she was a homemaker.
She is survived by her husband, James; two daughters, Kathryn Clark and Christine Rowons, both of California; one son, Stephen Clark of Utah; six grandchildren and one great-grandchild.

Doris Darby Evans
Doris Darby Evans, 92, of Las Vegas died Friday in Las Vegas. She was born Jan. 16, 1909, in Essex, Mo. A resident for 65 years, she was a retired school teacher and real estate broker and a child welfare volunteer.
She is survived by one son, Charles R. Evans of Las Vegas; three grandchildren, six great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild.

Jerry L. Froyd, 55, of Las Vegas died Sunday in a local hospital. He was born Feb. 11, 1946, in Las Vegas. A lifelong resident, he was a retired paint and body automobile repairman, a Vietnam War Marine Corps veteran, a member of Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 10047 and worked for Coach USA.
He is survived by his wife, Mary "Patty"; one son, Ronnie Froyd of Las Vegas; five stepsons, William Betts of Birmingham, Ala., Michael Betts of St. Cloud, Ala., John Betts of Virginia, Jame Betts of Las Vegas and Joseph Porter of Ithaca, N.Y.; his mother, Jackie Krause, and one sister, Shirley York, both of Dolan Springs, Ariz.; one brother, James Shugart of Las Vegas; and six grandchildren.
Visitation is scheduled 30 minutes prior to a 9 a.m. service Wednesday in Palm Mortuary, 1325 N. Main St. Burial will follow in Palm Memorial Park.

Henry J. Gurniak, 84, of Las Vegas died Sunday in a local hospice. He was born Oct. 1, 1916, in New York City. A resident for 30 years, he was a retired postal clerk for the U.S. Post Office.
He is survived by his wife, Anne; two daughters, Josephine Foster and Elizabeth Gurniak, both of Las Vegas; one son, George Gurniak of La Crescenta, Calif.; one sister, Frances Lomenzo, and one brother, Frank Gurniak, all of New York state; three grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

Wilma 'Willie' Keenan
Wilma "Willie" Keenan, 91, died Friday in Livermore, Calif. She was born May 5, 1910, in Czechoslovakia. A former Las Vegas resident for 57 years, she was a retired middle school teacher and counselor for 25 years in Henderson, a member of the Business and Professional Women's Association, Delta Kappa Gamma and Catholic Daughters, a volunteer for St. Rose De Lima Hospital and an officer for the Retired Teachers Association.
She is survived by one daughter, Patricia Poore of Livermore, Calif.; three grandchildren and eight grandchildren.
Visitation is scheduled 9-10 a.m. Friday in Palm Mortuary, 7600 S. Eastern Ave. Mass will be celebrated 10:30 a.m. Friday in St. Anne's Catholic Church, 1901 S. Maryland Parkway. Burial will follow in Palm Valley View Memorial Park.

Irene McBride, 64, of Las Vegas died Saturday in a local hospital. She was born June 20, 1936, in Staten Island, N.Y. A resident for 25 years, she was a homemaker.
She is survived by her husband, Clarence; three daughters, Joann Ferreira and Brenda Lee Roy, both of Las Vegas and Sherry Ann Curtis of Pine Bluff, Ark.; four sons, Guy Roy of Tallahassee, Fla., and William Roy, Mark McBride and Bruce McBride, all of Las Vegas; 11 grandchildren and one great-grandchild.

James Charles Miller, 49, of Las Vegas died Friday in Las Vegas. He was born April 3, 1952, in Las Vegas. A lifelong resident, he was a carpenter and a member of the Carpenters Union.
He is survived by one son, Tyler Bayne, one daughter, Lisa Stephens, his mother, June Miller, one brother, Larry Miller, and one sister, Karen LeBaron, all of Las Vegas; and two grandchildren.

William V. Nasto, 74, of Las Vegas died Saturday in a local hospice. He was born Aug. 21, 1926, in Brooklyn, N.Y. A resident for six years, he was a retired producer in the entertainment industry and a World War II Navy veteran.
He is survived by his wife, Sherry L.; one son, Wayne Nasto of Arizona; and one sister, Anne Marie Donofrio of Summers, N.Y.

Judy Norman, 80, of Henderson died Saturday in a local hospital. She was born Oct. 9, 1940, in Boyne City, Mich. A resident for eight years, she was a data analyst in the aerospace industry and was disabled.
She is survived by her husband, Joe; one daughter, Sue Walsh of Blythe, Calif.; two sons, Sheldon Dedecker and Steve Norman, both of Las Vegas; three brothers; and three sisters.

Neosha Norman
Neosha Norman, 88, of Las Vegas died Saturday in a local care center. She was born July 17, 1912, in Vancouver, Wash. A resident for 57 years, she was a retired kindergarten teacher in Boulder City and Las Vegas, a member of the Order of the Eastern Star and Lambda Kappa Delta.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Lee in 1994 and her son, Noel in 1998.

Robert Eugene Patton, 70, of Boulder City died Friday in a local hospital. He was born Jan. 14, 1931, in Chanute, Kan. A resident for 21 years, he was a retired operating engineer and a retired member of Operating Engineers Union Local 12.
He is survived by his wife, JoAnne; two daughters, Jennine Barrett of Riverside, Calif., and Amy Royce of Anchorage, Alaska; one son, Jeffery Patton of Boulder City; four sisters, Mabel Stevens of Antioch, Calif., Betty Haynes of Chanute, Bessie Hamby of Tucson, Ariz., and Mildred Lefebvre of Hays, Kan.; one brother, Christopher Patton of Chanute; seven grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.

Marie R. Pecora, 84, of Las Vegas died Sunday in Las Vegas. She was born Dec. 1, 1916, in Philadelphia. A resident for 13 years, she was a retired garment trimmer and presser.
She is survived by two daughters, Roseann Pecora of Las Vegas and Marie Schulze of Sutherland, Va.; one son, Frank Pecora of Nova Scotia, Canada; one sister, Emma Wagner of Philadelphia; one brother, Richard Loughead of Quakertown, Pa.; four grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.

William Charles Schaefer, 67, of Las Vegas died Sunday in Las Vegas. He was born Feb. 13, 1934, in Cleveland. A resident for 33 years, he was a dealer at the Desert Inn hotel-casino for 27 years and an Air Force veteran.
He is survived by his wife, Barbara; two sons, William Lewis Schaefer and Charles William Schaefer, both of Las Vegas; one stepdaughter, Deborah Dalton of Seattle; two sisters, Jane Zorn and Doodie Booms, both of Mentor, Ohio; one brother, Sonny Schaefer of Tampa, Fla.; and three grandchildren.

Cecilia W. Sherrell, 66, of Las Vegas died Thursday in Las Vegas. She was born June 2, 1935, in Saxon, Wis. A resident for 26 years, she was a change girl for ETT Enterprises at the Albertson's on Mountain Vista St.
She is survived by one daughter, Kim Gille; three sons, Russell Sherrell, Scott Sherrell and Dean Sherrell; and three grandchildren.

Arthur Clarence Tomlinson Jr.
Arthur Clarence Tomlinson Jr., 82, of Las Vegas died Monday in Las Vegas. He was born Nov. 26, 1918, in Utah. A resident for many years, he was a field electrical engineer for General Electric.
He is survived by one son, Arthur B. Tomlinson of Santa Clara, Calif.

Helen Tsagrinos, 56, of Las Vegas died Friday in a local hospital. A resident for 15 years, she was born Feb. 22, 1945, in Amphissa, Fokidos, Greece.
She is survived by two daughters, Marti Tsagrinos of Las Vegas and Maria Tsagrinos of Santa Monica, Calif.; two sons, Bill Tsagrinos and George Tsagrinos, both of Las Vegas; and two grandchildren.

She is survived by two sons, Robert Walsh and Martin Walsh, and one daughter, Cathy Gill, all of Las Vegas; her mother, Bessie Hill, two brothers, Wilmur "Buck" Hill and Robert Hill, and two sisters, Georgene Dennison and Donna Easley, all of Washington state; 14 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.

She is survived by one son, Jerry House of Omaha, Neb.; five daughters, Mary Dew and Joanne Farho, both of Omaha, Rosemary Pettit of Costa Mesa, Calif., Barbara Sheehy of Las Vegas and Judy Paradis of Bend, Ore.; one brother, William Eutzy of Sioux Falls, S.D.; 10 grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
