StumbleLottery contractor seeks renewal of deal

Gtech Corp. was the only firm to respond to the Lottery Commission's request for bids for the next contract, the commission announced Tuesday.
A committee is evaluating Gtech's bid, said Linda Cloud, executive director of the commission.
Gtech has held the job since the games began 10 years ago. The company was paid more than $93 million for its services during the fiscal year ended Aug. 31, 1999.
