The founder of Las Vegas-based Acres Gaming Inc. has sold 16,000 shares of the company's common stock for $105,840.
According to a filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission, John Acres, who sold the company and is no longer affiliated with it, sold 8,000 shares of stock at $6.55 a share on May 21 on behalf of the John and JoAnn Acres 1989 Living Trust. A day later, he sold 8,000 shares on behalf of his minor children at $6.68 a share.
Acres was required to make the SEC filing because he owns more than 10 percent of its outstanding shares. The filing said Acres now owns 1.5 million shares on behalf of the Acres Living Trust and 102,144 shares on behalf of his children.
