Story: Frank Sinatra, the Chairman of the Board who did everything his way during a multifaceted entertainment career, died of a heart attack late Thursday in Los Angeles. He was 82.

Sept. 18: Former Horseshoe exec Ted Binion found dead

Story: 55-year-old Ted Binion, whose gaming license was revoked in March in part because of his ties to organized-crime figures, was found dead in his home on Palomino Lane Thursday from what police said may have been an accidental overdose of prescription drugs.
