Striped bass fishing has been good throughout the lake and anglers are now taking fish with shad imitations near the lake's surface. Boaters who are fishing in the Boulder Basin have been having excellent results by trolling near the algae line.
Owl's Point has also been productive for stripers, and boaters will find less competition. The action has been slow for boaters fishing below Cottonwood Cove.
Weed growth is becoming a problem, but shore anglers are still managing to catch fish from the dam and fishing dock.
