2nd Race -- Mining For Fun -- Part of coupled Dutton-trained entry with Calcupbound, Solis named on both halves of entry, one might scratch leaving solo contender. Moscow U. -- Draws good middle post for the 7-panel run, Smith scales Hess trainee here, adds blinkers as part of package for this. Value Play -- Pirate's Slew

3rd Race -- Swept Overboard -- Draws good middle post in competitive short field, Nakatani on one of two Dollace-trained 'hidden entries', tough customer when right. Orville N Wilbur's -- Hard-knocking old trooper returns here, Pincay on Mandella trainee, adds blinkers for this. Value Play -- Accomplice

4th Race -- Right Angle -- Training at Anita, hustling Pedroza on main man Carava trainee, needs prompt start from inner post for short dash. Pick Of The Valley -- Part of coupled Dutton-trained entry with Earth Pleasure, Solis scales here, Atkinson there, good baby race team. Value Play -- Precise Victor

5th Race -- Navel Academy -- Speedster draws inner post for short turf dash, leading rider Solis atop Sadler trainee, a factor throughout. Waki American -- Good effort over the course and trip in last, McCarron back aboard Sahadi trainee, makes late impact. Value Play -- Precision Cut
