Letter: Waiting for a better world

Peace on Earth will never be.

Since I was born, mankind has been fighting wars. Each war was supposed to be the war to end all wars, but each time mankind has found a reason to go to war again.

What a shame the world cannot be at peace, but we have too many selfish people in this world. The rich get as rich as they want to get. I guess no one ever told them you can't take it with you.

There are so many good things mankind could do with excess wealth. A few of the wealthy have been trying to do right, but these kind of people are few and far between. Perhaps the day will come when all will become equal. But don't hold your breath.
