Letter: No free trade with Chinese
Tuesday, June 5, 2001 | 8:55 a.m.
Aren't the Chinese inscrutable?
They announced that our EP 3 surveillance plane would have to be disassembled and transported in a AN-124 Russian designed giant transport. We could repair it and fly home. But they'll do anything to attempt to humble us. Also, they refused to allow the USS Inchon to make a port call in Hong Kong to further make their petty point.
To see how brutal they can be, talk to any ex-POW who had the horrifying experience to have been interrogated and indoctrinated by this Communist scum. Are we still allow our defense contractors, like Lockheed-Martin, to construct projects that have military uses? I'm sure you know that Lockheed-Martin had a radar project, on Hainan Island, the same time the Chinese were holding the crew hostage!
"Free" trade my foot. When you give them too many advantages it'll be costly trade in the future.
