Four with links to LV get U.S. Open berths

Las Vegan Anthony Kang was one of four golfers out of 76 at the El Caballero Country Club in Tarzana, Calif., to qualify for the U.S. Open being held June 14-17 at the Southern Hills Country Club in Tulsa, Okla.
Kang shot rounds of 72 and 67 for a total of 139 to nab the final spot.
Former UNLV golfers Chad Campbell and Skip Kendall also qualified. Campbell made it with rounds of 71 and 68 at the Kirtland Country Club in Cleveland while Kendall fired 71-68--139 at the Lakes Country Club in Westerville, Ohio.
Clark High School grad Robert Gamez made the Open field by shooting 68-70--138 at Westerville.
