Track: Dover Downs International Speedway (oval, 1-mile, 24 degrees banking in turns).
Race distance: 400 miles, 400 laps.
Last race: Jeff Burton pulled away for an easy victory in the Coca-Cola 600 in Concord, N.C., to give Roush Racing its first win of the year. Burton, also the 1999 winner, led the final 73 laps, opening a huge advantage and beating Kevin Harvick by 3.190 seconds.
Last year: Tony Stewart led 242 of 400 laps for the victory.
Fast facts: Kyle Petty's last Winston Cup victory was in Dover in 1995. ... Bobby Allison won the only caution-free race in Dover in 1971. ... Bill Elliott and Ricky Rudd lead active drivers with four wins apiece. ... Since 1971, when Dover began hosting two races a season, there have been seven sweeps. Stewart won both the spring and fall races at Dover last year.

Fast facts: No spring race in Dover has been won from the pole. ... Dale Earnhardt Jr. won the spring race at Dover in 1998 and '99. ... Todd Bodine leads with three wins at Dover. ... Chevrolet leads with 18 Dover victories.

Track: Dover Downs International Speedway (oval, 1-mile, 24 degrees banking in turns).
Race distance: 200 miles, 200 laps.
Last race: Joe Ruttman won for the second time this season, holding off Scott Riggs and Jack Sprague in the Jelly Belly 200 at Pikes Peak International Raceway. The race ended in a two-lap sprint following a caution flag on lap 198 after Jonathon Price hit the wall on the one-mile oval. Because a truck series race can't end under caution, the event went 204 laps.
Last year: Las Vegan Kurt Busch, who wrecked his primary truck in practice, came from last place to pass Mike Wallace and win. He took the lead by passing a spinning Wallace on the 198th lap.
Fast facts: Last year's inaugural race was held the same weekend as the fall events for the Winston Cup and Busch series. ... Dover is the first of two concrete surfaces on which the series will compete this year.

Schedule: Saturday, qualifying, 8 a.m. (ESPN2, 1:30 p.m., tape); Sunday, race (ABC, 1 p.m.)
Track: The Milwaukee Mile (oval 1.032 miles, 9 degrees banking in turns).
Race distance: 232.2 miles, 225 laps.
Last race: Kenny Brack, the 1999 Indianapolis 500 winner, took his first checkered flag in the cockpit of a Champ car, shaking off Helio Castroneves to win the Firestone Firehawk 500 in Motegi, Japan. Brack grabbed the lead on the 150th of 201 laps and fought off a late assault by Castroneves and Tony Kanaan.
Last year: Juan Montoya won the rain-delayed event, giving Toyota its first victory in five seasons on the CART circuit.
Fast facts: Milwaukee has been on the CART schedule since the organization began racing in 1979. ... Castroneves won the Indy 500 last week, becoming the second consecutive CART driver to win the IRL race. Montoya, now on the Formula One circuit, won last year. ... Kenny Brack leads Castroneves by two points in the standings.

Last event: Kenny Bernstein raced to his third Top Fuel victory of the season and 26th of his career, beating Larry Dixon in the Advance Auto Parts Nationals in Topeka, Kan. Tony Pedregon, Ron Krisher and Don Smith won their divisions.
Last year: John Force got his record-setting 86th victory, breaking a tie with Bob Glidden. Gary Scelzi, Krisher, Antron Brown and Bob Panella also were winners.
Fast facts: Tim Wilkerson beat Force in the 1999 finals. It was Force's only finals loss of the season. ... Force leads the Funny Car standings by 115 points over Ron Capps. ... Bernstein, who plans to retire after next season, also is a 30-time winner in the Funny Car division.

Last race: Helio Castroneves and fellow Brazilian Gil de Ferran gave team owner Roger Penske a 1-2 finish and led a CART sweep of the top five at the Indianapolis 500. The victory was Penske's record 11th at Indy. Michael Andretti, Jimmy Vasser and rookie Bruno Junqueira rounded out the top five, making it a tough day for the IRL. Eliseo Salazar finished seventh, the best showing by an IRL regular.

Last race: Michael Schumacher won his fifth Monaco Grand Prix after polesitter David Coulthard stalled at the start. Schumacher extended his lead over Coulthard in the standings with a comfortable victory on the twisting circuit through the Mediterranean principality. Coulthard's stall allowed Schumacher to start alone from the front row of the 78-lap race. Schumacher's Ferrari teammate, Rubens Barrichello, finished second, 0.4 seconds behind.
