High-tech phones delayed

After touting an aggressive roll-out schedule of new high-tech phones at a Las Vegas convention last month, Cingular Wireless now says "hold on." The phones will not be ready this month.
The nation's second largest mobile phone carrier has delayed offering its new phones in Southern Nevada and other markets until later this summer to avoid glitches that may hinder the customer's experience, a Cingular spokeswoman said.
These Internet-enabled phones are supposed to offer e-mail and Internet content at speeds five-times faster than current mobile phone networks.
