Louis Caudell
Louis Caudell, 81, of Las Vegas died Thursday in a local hospital. He was born Dec. 14, 1919, in Memphis, Tenn. A resident for 22 years, he was a real estate manager, a retired Army colonel and World War II and Korean War veteran who served for 30 years.
He is survived by his wife, Audrey; two daughters, Carolyn McCalla of Sherwood, Ark., and Donna Davis of Ridder, La.; one sister, Pat Blankenship of Heber Springs, Ark.; seven grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
Visitation is scheduled 4-7 p.m. Tuesday in Palm Mortuary, 1600 S. Jones Blvd. Services will be 11 a.m. Wednesday in Palm Chapel, Jones. Graveside services will follow at 1:30 p.m. Wednesday in Southern Nevada Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Boulder City.
Joan I. Climer
Joan I. Climer, 75, of Las Vegas died Friday in Las Vegas. She was born July 21, 1926, in Australia. A resident for eight years, she was a floral designer.
She is survived by two daughters, Linda Bazoian of Henderson and Vivian Mrove of Texas; two sons, Jesse Climer Jr. of Illinois and Cecil G. Climer of Las Vegas; one sister, Gladys Robinson of Australia; two grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
No local services are scheduled. Hites Funeral Services, 438 W. Sunset Road, Henderson, is handling arrangements.
Jack Helsley
Jack Helsley, 73, of Las Vegas died Saturday in a local hospital. He was born Nov. 8, 1927, in Freeport, Kan. A resident for three years, he was a retired owner of a home-improvement business and an Army veteran.
He is survived by his wife, Patricia; three daughters, Christine Chew of Las Vegas, Karen Dreyer of St. Joseph, Mo., and Jackie Miller of Austin, Texas; two sons, James Helsley of Las Vegas and Kenneth Helsley of Fort Worth, Texas; nine grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
Affordable Cremation and Burial Service, 2457 N. Decatur Blvd., is handling arrangements.
George H. Johnson
George H. Johnson, 82, of Las Vegas died Friday in Las Vegas. He was born July 16, 1919, in Bethel, Minn. A resident for 31 years, he was a retired accountant for the federal government, a World War II Navy veteran and a life member of Elks Lodge 1468.
He is survived by one daughter, Debbie Johnson of Las Vegas.
A memorial service will be 10 a.m. Tuesday in Community Lutheran Church, 3720 E. Tropicana Ave. Burial will be private. Palm Mortuary, 7600 S. Eastern Ave., is handling arrangements.
The family suggests donations to the American Heart Association, 6370 W. Flamingo Road, Suite 1, Las Vegas, NV 89103.
Catherine Lynch
Catherine Lynch, 53, of North Las Vegas died Saturday in a local hospital. She was born Jan. 1, 1948, in Rome, N.Y. A resident for eight years, she was a saleswoman in the pharmaceutical industry.
She is survived by her husband, Patrick; one son, William Smith of Las Vegas; one daughter, Loret Skinner, and two brothers, Kenneth Powell and Larry Powell, all of Rome; and three grandchildren.
Visitation is scheduled one hour prior to 6 p.m. services Monday in Palm Mortuary, 7400 W. Cheyenne Ave.
Dorothy Irene Myers
Dorothy Irene Myers, 76, of Las Vegas died Saturday in a local hospital. She was born Jan. 26, 1925, in Inwood, Iowa. A resident for 30 years, she was a retired bookkeeper in the eye care industry.
She is survived by one son, Michael Myers of Las Vegas; one brother, Don Rowland of Canton, S.D.; and three grandchildren.
Visitation is scheduled 4-7 p.m. Thursday in Palm Mortuary, 7600 S. Eastern Ave. Services will be 2 p.m. Friday in Palm Chapel, Eastern. Burial will follow in Palm Valley View Memorial Park.
Margaret May Neal
Margaret May Neal, 80, of Las Vegas died Thursday in a local hospital. She was born July 13, 1921, in Canada. A resident for 46 years, she was a retired beautician, a member of the Eagles and the Moose.
She is survived by her husband, Dallas D.; one brother, Floyd Stauffer, and two sisters, Joyce Holst and Isabelle Johnson, all of Canada; and one stepbrother, Sydney Kolbu of Las Vegas.
Visitation is scheduled one hour prior to 2 p.m. services Tuesday in Palm Mortuary, 1325 N. Main St. Burial will follow in Palm Memorial Park.
The family suggests donations to the American Cancer Society, 1325 E. Harmon Ave., Las Vegas, NV 89119.
Freddie Stahl
Freddie Stahl, 60, of Las Vegas died Sunday in a local hospital. He was born Oct. 4, 1940, in Detroit. A resident for six years, he was a barber.
He is survived by his wife, Sandra; three daughters, Jill Gabel and Becky Roberts, both of Chicago and Elizabeth Stahl of Michigan; three stepsons, Alan Rabinowitz of Michigan, Steven Rabinowitz of Arizona and David Rabinowitz of Chicago; one brother, Bert Stahl of Michigan; and eight grandchildren.
