Letter: Column captures narrow-minded editor to a T
Monday, July 30, 2001 | 9:07 a.m.
Thank you ... thank you ... thank you to Sun Editor Brian Greenspun for his July 22 column, "A nose for non-news."
Greenspun hit it right on the head. Review-Journal Editor Tom Mitchell just doesn't get it. That is what he said to me in an e-mail one time when I was trying to communicate to him that he was narrow-minded. "I don't get your point," Mitchell replied.
And that was from someone who is supposed to be able to "edit" and still keep the essence of what is written.
I think he should be locked up in solitary with only his big words for company. Anyway, thanks again ... and keep up the good work.
