Letter: Changing prices are no mystery

I just bought some gasoline for $1.49 per gallon. A while back I paid $1.82 per gallon.
This proves that Big Oil conspired to lower gasoline prices. What other explanation can there be?
Or does Big Oil only raise prices and it is a big mystery why prices fall?
