LaDallis James Anderson

LaDallis James Anderson, 8, of Henderson died Tuesday in a local hospital. He was born March 5, 1993, in Henderson. He was a student at John F. Miller Elementary School.

He is survived by his mother, Benita R. Boston-Anderson, his father, Wallace B. Anderson, and two brothers, Benjiman O.S. Anderson and L. Jordan Anderson, all of Henderson; and his grandparents, LaRue Kern of Henderson, LaDallis Kern of Las Vegas and Norma M. Anderson of Round Mountain.

Services will be 5 p.m. Saturday in Palm Chapel, Eastern.

The family suggests donations to the John F. Miller Elementary School Special Education Program, 1905 Atlantic St., Las Vegas, NV 89052.

Glen LK. Auna

Glen LK. Auna, 64, of Las Vegas died Monday in a local hospital. He was born Dec. 31, 1936, in Honokaa, Hawaii. A resident for three years, he was a retired assistant manager for a storage company.

He is survived by his wife, Joan; one daughter, Jasmine Auna of Las Vegas; three sons, Glen Freitas Jr., Garvin Freitas and Grant Auna, and one sister, Lois Timmie, all of Honolulu; three brothers, Alex Auna of Hilo, John Auna of Kailua-Kona, Hawaii, and Harvey Auna of Surprise, Ariz.; and three grandchildren.

Visitation is scheduled 5-7 p.m. today in Palm Mortuary, 1600 S. Jones Blvd. Additional visitation is scheduled one hour prior to an 11 a.m. service Saturday in the LDS Lindell Ward chapel.

Jack W. Ball

Jack W. Ball, 73, of Las Vegas died Tuesday in a local hospital. He was born June 1, 1928, in Illinois. A resident for 20 years, he was a retired federal government hospital administrator and a Vietnam War Air Force veteran.

He is survived by his wife, Armie R.; one son, John Park of Colorado Springs, Colo.; two stepsons, Ed Castaneda and Jeff Castaneda, both of Las Vegas; and one granddaughter.

Visitation is scheduled 4-7 p.m. Friday in Palm Mortuary, 7600 S. Eastern Ave. Services will be 2 p.m. Saturday in Palm Chapel, Eastern.

The family suggests donations to the Multiple Sclerosis Society, 6000 S. Eastern Ave., Suite 9C, Las Vegas, NV 89119.

June Burden

June Burden, 86, of Henderson died Tuesday in Kingman, Ariz. She was born June 17, 1915, in Canada. A resident for 32 years, she was a homemaker.

She is survived by two sons, Bill Cox of Little Rock, Ark., and Timothy of Waupaca, Wis.

No local services are scheduled. Burial will be in Maryland. Hites Funeral Services, 438 W. Sunset Road, Henderson, is handling arrangements.

Michael Clark Buschick

Michael Clark Buschick, 56, of Las Vegas died Sunday in Las Vegas. He was born Aug. 28, 1944, in Illinois. A resident for eight years, he was an administrator for a manufacturing company and an Air Force veteran.

He is survived by one daughter, Jennifer Ann Koentop; two brothers, Eddie and Cliff; and one sister, Anita L. Johnson.

Desert Memorial Cremation and Burial Society, 1111 Las Vegas Blvd. North, is arranging private services.

Tito M. Carrasco

Tito M. Carrasco, 57, of Las Vegas died Saturday in Las Vegas. A carpenter, an Air Force veteran and a member of Carpenters Local 1977, he was born Aug. 6, 1943, in Mexico.

He is survived by his wife, Norma P.; three sons, Pablo P. Carrasco, Lombardo Martin Carrasco and Joaquin P. Carrasco; one daughter, Sonia P. Carrasco; and one granddaughter.

Desert Memorial Cremation and Burial Society, 1111 Las Vegas Blvd. North, is arranging private family services.

Frank J. DeBartolo

Frank J. DeBartolo, 73, of Las Vegas died Tuesday in a local hospital. He was born Jan 24, 1928, in Cicero, Ill. A resident for six years, he was a retired laundry deliveryman.

He is survived by his wife, Lorraine; three sons, Ron Nemec of Las Vegas, Gregg DeBartolo of Syracuse, N.Y., and Keith DeBartolo of Buffalo Grove, Ill.; one daughter, Kim Voight of Bartlett, Ill.; one sister, Geri Maniscalco of Downers Grove, Ill.; and three grandchildren.

Services will be 11 a.m. Saturday in Palm Mortuary, 7600 S. Eastern Ave. Burial will follow in Palm Valley View Memorial Park.

Jean Marilyn Follett

Jean Marilyn Follett, 77, of Las Vegas died Wednesday in Las Vegas. She was born Dec. 23, 1923, in Rock Rapids, Iowa. A resident for 19 years, she was a homemaker.

She is survived by her husband, Robert; one daughter, Gail Bates of Prescott, Wis.; one son, Robert E. Follett of Ridgefield, Wash.; and five grandchildren.

Visitation is scheduled 3:30-5 p.m. Sunday in Bunkers Mortuary, 925 Las Vegas Blvd. North. Services will be 10 a.m. Monday in First Presbyterian Church, 1515 W. Charleston Blvd. Burial will follow in Memory Gardens, 7251 W. Lone Mountain Road.

Ralph O. Geddes

Ralph O. Geddes, 82, of Las Vegas died Monday in a local hospice. A retired salesman and an Army veteran, he was born May 21, 1919, in California.

He is survived by three daughters, Kathryn Warden of Monroe, Wash., Patricia Gibbs of Laramie, Wyo., and Deborah Noury of San Anselmo, Calif.; one brother, Douglas Geddes of Los Gatos, Calif.; and six grandchildren.

Affordable Cremation and Burial Service, 2457 N. Decatur Blvd., is handling arrangements.

Sharon L. Harding

Sharon L. Harding, 57, of Las Vegas died Tuesday in Las Vegas. She was born Sept. 30, 1943, in Niagara Falls, N.Y. A resident for 16 years, she was a homemaker.

She is survived by her husband, Michael; one daughter, Kimberly Arell, and two sons, Kelly Harding and Shannon Harding, all of Las Vegas; two sisters, Jean Craig of Middleport, N.Y., and Barbara Dodge of Stayton, Ore.; and two grandchildren.

Services will be 10 a.m. Saturday in Affordable Cremation and Burial Service, 2457 N. Decatur Blvd.

Lelia Della Hardy

Lelia Della Hardy, 87, died Monday in Yuma, Ariz. She was born Dec. 28, 1913, in Aztec, N.M. A former Las Vegas resident for 40 years, she was a state government clerk.

She is survived by two sons, Herbert Hardy of Cambodia (on an LDS mission) and Gordon Hardy of Phoenix; one daughter, Jeanine Jarvis of Yuma; one half-brother, Scott Wyrick of San Diego; 25 grandchildren, 50 great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild.

Visitation is scheduled 7-9 p.m. today in Palm Mortuary, 7400 W. Cheyenne Ave. Additional visitation is scheduled 90 minutes prior to a 2 p.m. service Saturday in the LDS chapel at Buffalo Drive and Cheyenne Avenue. Graveside services will be 3:30 p.m. Saturday in Woodlawn Cemetery.

Edward Thomas Keelan Jr.

Edward Thomas Keelan Jr., 77, of Las Vegas died Tuesday in Las Vegas. He was born April 3, 1924, in Long Beach, Calif. A resident for two months, he was a retired lawyer, a World War II Navy veteran and a member of the Elks.

He is survived by his wife, Lona Alice; two daughters, Regina Bass of Stillwell, Calif., and Claudia Keelan of Las Vegas; one son, Edward Thomas Keelan II of Mount Shasta, Calif.; one sister, Patricia Keelan of Anaheim, Calif.; and six grandchildren.

Palm Mortuary, 7600 S. Eastern Ave., is handling arrangements.

Albert M. Kirby

Albert M. Kirby, 78, of Las Vegas died Thursday in a local hospital. He was born April 16, 1923, in Rockford, Ill. A resident for 42 years, he was a retired sheet metal worker, a World War II Army veteran, a member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars and International Association of Sheet Metal Workers Union Local 88.

He is survived by two daughters, Paullette Bird and Mary Jane Kirby, and one son, Paul Kirby, all of Las Vegas; one brother, Robert Kirby of Illinois; and one grandchild.

Visitation is scheduled 4-7 p.m. Sunday in Palm Mortuary, 7600 S. Eastern Ave. Services will be 9 a.m. Monday in Palm Chapel, Eastern. Burial will follow at 10 a.m. Monday in Davis' Paradise Memorial Gardens.

Bertha Massey

Bertha Massey, 72, of Las Vegas died Wednesday in Las Vegas. She was born Feb. 4, 1929, in Iowa. A resident for 20 years, she was a caregiver.

She is survived by two sons, Mark Massey and Larry Massey, both of Las Vegas; two daughters, Kathleen Wylupski of Minnesota and Cinda Massey of Washington state; and four sisters, Doris Ronds, Marjorie Merryman and Geraldine Birnley, all of Iowa and Bonnie Carson of Texas.

No local services are scheduled. Hites Funeral Services, 438 W. Sunset Road, Henderson, is handling arrangements.

Zahin Gutierrez Piceno

Zahin Gutierrez Piceno, 27, of Las Vegas died Sunday in Las Vegas. He was born Oct. 29, 1973, in Mexico. A resident for six years, he was a mechanic at Brake Depot, a member of the Honda Motor Club and the Athletic Club.

He is survived by his father, Jose Gutierrez; his mother, Juana Piceno; three brothers, Martin Piceno, Noe Piceno and Ramiro Piceno; and three sisters, Olivia Piceno, Georgina Piceno and Lupe Piceno.

Visitation is scheduled one hour prior to 2 p.m. services Saturday in Desert Memorial Cremation and Burial Society, 1111 Las Vegas Blvd. North.

George Louis Ponce

George Louis Ponce, 28, of Boulder City died Monday in Boulder City. He was born July 29, 1972, in Las Vegas. A lifelong resident, he was a wild land firefighter for the City of Las Vegas.

He is survived by his wife, Marci; one daughter, Anna Jean Ponce of Boulder City; his parents, Jesus and Juanita S. Ponce of Las Vegas; three brothers; four sisters; and his grandmother, Juanita S. Ponce of Las Vegas.

A memorial service was scheduled at 10 a.m. today in Green Valley Baptist Church, 270 N. Valle Verde Drive, Henderson, followed by burial in Paradise Memorial Gardens. Davis Paradise Valley Funeral Home, 6200 S. Eastern Ave., handled arrangements.

Phillip J. Priore

Phillip J. Priore, 66, of Henderson died Thursday in Henderson. He was born May 3, 1935, in Chicago. A resident for many years, he was a foreman for a trucking company.

He is survived by his wife, Angela.

Karen Lee Rella

Karen Lee Rella, 45, of Las Vegas died Tuesday in Las Vegas. She was born May 16, 1956, in Philadelphia. A resident for 11 years, she was a first grade teacher at Gene Ward Elementary School.

She is survived by her husband, Chris; three daughters, Jill Rella, Valerie Rella and Caitlyn Rella, and one brother, Woody Clark, all of Las Vegas.

Visitation is scheduled 10 a.m. until noon services Saturday in Davis Paradise Valley Funeral Home, 6200 S. Eastern Ave. Burial will follow in Paradise Memorial Gardens.

Lillian M. Vanderburg

Lillian M. Vanderburg, 76, of Las Vegas died Saturday in Las Vegas. She was born Nov. 6, 1924, in Pennsylvania. A resident for 18 years, she was a secretary for the Cincinnati school district.

She is survived by one daughter, Karyn.

Jesse Andrew Wilson

Jesse Andrew Wilson, 85, of Las Vegas died Monday in Las Vegas. He was born Jan. 20, 1916, in Gaffney, S.C. A resident for 12 years, he was a retired federal police officer and CID military criminal investigator, a member of the Moose Lodge, Elks Lodge and American Legion.

He is survived by two sons, William L. Wilson and Daniel J. Wilson, both of Las Vegas; eight grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

Graveside services will be 11:30 a.m. Tuesday in Southern Nevada Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Boulder City. Davis Paradise Valley Funeral Home, 6200 S. Eastern Ave., is handling arrangements.
