Screenings

Ongoing event
The ninth-annual Las Vegas Music Festival continues at 8 p.m. Tuesday with a piano recital by Yakov Kasman at UNLV's Beam Recital Hall. At 8 p.m. Thursday, the Las Vegas Music Festival Orchestra, conducted by George E. Stelluto, will perform at UNLV's Artemus Ham Concert Hall. Music and dance
A performance, sponsored by the Garold Gardner Scholarship Foundation, of Broadway music and dance featuring numbers from "Cats," "Annie Get Your Gun," "Miss Saigon" and "Kiss Me Kate," among others, will be presented at 8 p.m. today and Saturday and 2 p.m. Sunday at the Las Vegas Little Theater, 3844 Schiff Drive. "The Aurora Collection," an exhibit of abstract metal sculptures by local artist Jean-Pierre Tugnon, is on display through Sept. 11 at McCarran International Airport's C Gate exhibition area.
Nevada artists
"Handed Down: Nevada's Living Folk Art," an exhibit of works by folk artists from around the state, is on display at the Nevada State Museum and Historical Society in Lorenzi Park, through October. Admission is $2 for adults; children under 18 are admitted free. Call 486-5205.
