Lucille Brown
Lucille Brown, 85, of Las Vegas died Sunday in a local care center. She was born May 31, 1916, in Scranton, Pa. A resident for 11 years, she was a retired bookkeeper in the investment business.
She is survived by her husband of 61 years, Sheldon; one brother, Richard Casey of Oxford, Pa.; and one sister, Marian Harris of Charlotte, N.C.
Visitation is scheduled noon until a 1 p.m. services Wednesday in Palm Mortuary, 7600 S. Eastern Ave. Burial will follow in Palm Valley View Memorial Park.
Peter Ralph Cicchetti
Peter Ralph Cicchetti, 80, of Las Vegas died Friday in a local care center. He was born March 10, 1921, in New Jersey. A resident for 49 years, he was a retired restaurateur.
He is survived by his wife, Christine; two sons, Peter Cicchetti and Alphonse Cicchetti, both of Las Vegas; 10 grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
A memorial service will be 1:30 p.m. Friday in Affordable Cremation and Burial Service, 2457 N. Decatur Blvd.
Bessie Cohen
Bessie Cohen, 80, of Las Vegas died Monday in a local hospital. She was born Aug. 4, 1920, in Philadelphia. A resident for six years, she was a retired saleswoman.
She is survived by one son, Howard Rosen of Las Vegas.
A memorial service was scheduled at 12:30 p.m. today in Palm Mortuary, 7400 W. Cheyenne Ave.
The family suggests donations to the American Cancer Society, 1325 E. Harmon Ave., Las Vegas, NV 89119.
Lois Kloppenburg
Lois Kloppenburg, 82, of Las Vegas died Friday in Las Vegas. She was born Nov. 6, 1918, in St. Joseph, Mo. A resident for 11 years, she was a seamstress and a member of the Sun City Tappers.
She is survived by one daughter, Bobbi Gayle Taylor of California; one sister of Arizona; and four grandchildren.
Services are private. Burial will be in California. Bunkers Mortuary, 925 Las Vegas Blvd. North, is handling arrangements.
The family suggests donations to the Nathan Adelson Hospice, 4141 S. Swenson St., Las Vegas, NV 89119, or a local animal shelter.
James T. Manion
James T. Manion, 76, of Las Vegas died Saturday in a local hospice. He was born Aug. 1, 1924, in Norfolk, Kan. A resident for 14 years, he was a bottler for a brewing company and a World War II and Korean War Navy veteran.
He is survived by his wife, Virginia; one daughter, Pamela Cheatham of Las Vegas; two sons, Gregory Manion of San Diego and James W. Manion of Anaheim, Calif.; six grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
Services will be 10 a.m. Friday in Davis Paradise Valley Funeral Home, 6200 S. Eastern Ave. Burial will follow in Paradise Memorial Gardens.
Mable E. McLean
Mable E. McLean, 95, of Las Vegas died Saturday in a local health care center. She was born Jan. 22, 1906, in Winona, Minn. A resident for 13 years, she was a retired elevator operator.
She is survived by one daughter, Shirley Fagerstrom of Las Vegas; two grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
Visitation is scheduled 4-7 p.m. Wednesday in Palm Mortuary, 1600 S. Jones Blvd. Services will be 10 a.m. Thursday in Palm Chapel, Jones.
Helen Mildred Wilbur Morrison
Helen Mildred Wilbur Morrison, 87, of Las Vegas died Friday in Grand Junction, Colo. She was born March 25, 1914, in Peach Orchard, Ky. A resident for 13 years, she was a retired department store clerk.
She is survived by one son, James Morrison of Las Vegas; one daughter, Mary Ann Kincaid of Arlington, Va.; and two grandchildren.
Visitation is scheduled 5-7 p.m. Wednesday in Palm Mortuary, 7600 S. Eastern Ave. Services will be 10 a.m. Thursday in Palm Chapel, Eastern. Burial will follow in Palm Valley View Memorial Park.

Ida Mae Pluchel
Ida Mae Pluchel, 79, of Henderson died Saturday in Henderson. She was born May 5, 1922, in Baltimore. A resident for seven years, she was a retired waitress.
She is survived by one son, Lonnie E. Chuma of Long Beach, Calif.; two sisters, Gracie and Lillian, and one brother, William E. Philipps, all of Chicago; three grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
A memorial service will be 3 p.m. Thursday in Palm Mortuary, 800 S. Boulder Highway, Henderson.
Marilyn Judy Prewett
Marilyn Judy Prewett, 62, of Las Vegas died Sunday in Las Vegas. She was born June 29, 1939, in Boston. A resident for 30 years, she was a clerk for a real estate company.
She was preceded in death by one son, David Prewett.
She is survived by her husband, Jimmie; three sons, John Prewett of Rolling Heights, Calif., and Mark Prewett and Jimmie Prewett, both of Las Vegas; and one daughter, Lisa Prewett of Las Vegas.
Services will be 10 a.m. Wednesday in Bunkers Mortuary, 925 Las Vegas Blvd. Burial will be private.
Rolando Reina
Rolando Reina, 68, of Las Vegas died Thursday in Las Vegas. He was born June 7, 1933, in Havana. A resident for 31 years, he was a retired hotel waiter.
He is survived by one son, Luis Fellove of Las Vegas.
Affordable Cremation and Burial Service, 2457 N. Decatur Blvd., is handling arrangements.
Harry Herbert Rubin
Harry Herbert Rubin, 78, of Las Vegas died Tuesday in Las Vegas. He was born March 8, 1923. A resident for eight years, he was a manager in the electrical industry, an Army veteran, a member of Grandsons of Italy and the Masons and a volunteer for UMC and the Veterans Administration.
He is survived by his wife, Rita; three daughters, Mallerie, Cindee and Jana; one sister, Muriel Coleman; four grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
Graveside services will be 11 a.m. Thursday in Southern Nevada Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Boulder City. Desert Memorial Cremation and Burial Society, 1111 Las Vegas Blvd. North, is handling arrangements.
Duane L. Schaefer
Duane L. Schaefer, 62, of Las Vegas died Friday in a local hospital. He was born Aug. 7, 1938, in Madison, Wis. A resident for 33 years, he was a bus driver and a Marine Corps veteran.
He is survived by one daughter, Debbie Casson of Kingman, Ariz.; one brother, Robert Schaefer of Madison; and two grandchildren.
Visitation is scheduled one hour prior to 3 p.m. services Wednesday in Palm Mortuary, 1600 S. Jones Blvd. Graveside services will follow at 4 p.m. Wednesday in Palm Memorial Park, Northwest.
Alfred P. Silvia
Alfred P. Silvia, 72, of Las Vegas died Friday in a local health care center. He was born April 2, 1929, in Portsmouth, R.I. A resident for 13 years, he was a retired gardener and a Korean War Navy veteran.
He is survived by his wife, Mary F.; and five sisters, Mary Lawrence of Portsmouth, Antonette Berry of Englewood, Fla., Angelina Ferro of Middleton, R.I., and Olivia and Dovida, both of Newport, R.I.
Visitation is scheduled one hour prior to 7 p.m. services today in Palm Mortuary, 1325 N. Main St. Services will be 10:30 a.m. Wednesday in Our Lady of Las Vegas Catholic Church, 3050 Alta Drive. Graveside services will follow at 12:30 p.m. Wednesday in Southern Nevada Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Boulder City.

Elizabeth Mary Louis Simpson
Elizabeth Mary Louis Simpson, 73, of Las Vegas died July 17 in a local hospital. She was born April 28, 1928, in Honolulu. A resident for 13 years, she was a homemaker and involved with various charities.
She is survived by one son, Robert R. Simpson Jr.; two daughters, Roberta Jean and Lucy Ann Hodapp; one sister, Ruth Miller; and five grandchildren.
No local services are scheduled. Services were in Hawaii. Valley Memorial Crematory, 4855 W. Desert Inn Road, is handled arrangements.
Angela Andrew Urquizu
Angela Andrew Urquizu, 92, of Las Vegas died Sunday in Las Vegas. She was born Dec. 16, 1908, in Havana. A resident for 20 years, she was a homemaker.
She is survived by her granddaughter, Estrella Saybe of Las Vegas; two grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
Visitation is scheduled one hour prior to a 10 a.m. services Wednesday in Christ the King Church, 4925 S. Torrey Pines Drive. Burial will be in Paradise Memorial Gardens. Davis Paradise Valley Funeral Home, 6200 S. Eastern Ave., is handling arrangements.
Teresa Verri
Teresa Verri, 92, of Las Vegas died Sunday in a local care center. She was born Oct. 30, 1908, in Austin, Texas. A resident for 20 years, she was a retired restaurant owner.
She is survived by one daughter, Gilda Owens, and one son, Robert Verri, both of Las Vegas; three grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
Palm Mortuary, 7400 W. Cheyenne Ave., is handling arrangements.
Odell Wiley
Odell Wiley, 65, of Las Vegas died Friday in Las Vegas. He was born May 25, 1936, in Lambert, Miss. A resident for six years, he was a retired food blender and an Air Force veteran.
He is survived by his wife, Mary; one son, Ricardo Morris, and one daughter, Desiree Morris, both of Chicago; two stepsons, Lonnie Henderson and Joseph Henderson, both of Las Vegas; two stepdaughters, Josie Riley of Chicago and Amanda Stuckey of Las Vegas; his mother, Viola Wiley, and six brothers, Thomas Wiley, Stokes Wiley Jr., Earl Wiley, Leroy Wiley, Charles Wiley and William Frazier, all of Chicago; and eight grandchildren.
Services will be 11 a.m. Friday in Affordable Cremation and Burial Service, 2457 N. Decatur Blvd. Graveside services will follow at 12:30 p.m. Friday in Southern Nevada Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Boulder City.
Russell Young
Russell Young, 54, of North Las Vegas died Sunday in North Las Vegas. He was born Aug. 16, 1946, in Camden, N.J. A resident for nine years, he was a salesman at Cadillac of Las Vegas (formerly Cashman Cadillac).
He is survived by his wife, Roberta; one son, Russell Young Jr. of Ridgefield Park, N.J.; one daughter, Jonni-Lynn Peterson of Houston; and four grandchildren.
Visitation is scheduled 1-3 p.m. and 5-7 p.m. Wednesday in Palm Mortuary, 7400 W. Cheyenne Ave.
