Aztar Corp. of Phoenix named Richard Glasier, a top executive with Royal Caribbean Cruises Ltd., to its board of directors.
Glasier is executive vice president and chief financial officer of the cruise line. The appointment is subject to approval by gaming regulators in the jurisdictions where Aztar operates.
Aztar is the owner and operator of the Tropicana hotel-casino on the Las Vegas Strip. The company also owns casinos in Atlantic City, Laughlin, Caruthersville, Mo., and Evansville, Ind.
