Which is the most popular restaurant in Las Vegas?
Survey says ... Picasso at Bellagio.
The results of the 2001/2002 Zagat Survey of Las Vegas restaurants was released Tuesday, and several of the city's most upscale eateries were named on its various lists.
Piccaso, helmed by Chef Julian Serrano, came out on top in terms of popularity, while Mirage's Renior was honored with first place in the Food Rankings category.
Tim Zagat, co-founder/co-chair of the survey, hosted a press conference Tuesday at Cili at Bali Hai Gold Club, where he announced the winners, as well as addressing restaurant industry trends.
On Monday night Zagat toured more than a dozen Strip restaurants. The following are Zagat Survey's culinary winners, as well as comparison of average costs of meals in Las Vegas and other cities around the globe:
