International Game Technology today named Ward Chilton senior vice president of North American sales.
Chilton will replace Executive Vice President Bob McMonigle in that role. McMonigle is remaining with the company, and will focus on corporate relations and special projects.
Chilton has been with IGT for nearly 15 years. He is currently vice president of progressive systems, a business unit that includes IGT's Megabucks games, and will continue to oversee that business.
IGT said the change will be effective Oct. 1, pending regulatory approval.
