Camping can make a difference

The mother of an 11-year-old boy took in six other children to care for in her home. They recently moved here from Texas.
"I don't have the opportunity or flexibility to do a lot of things for him as I did when he was the only child," the mother writes in asking for help to send him to camp.
She is unemployed, and can't afford the costs.
Sometimes simple things, such as toasting marshmallows and singing around the campfire and spending time around camp counselors who are positive role models, are the memories that a child will carry with her through the rest of her life.
By joining contributors to the Las Vegas Sun Camp Fund you are making a difference in a child's life.
