Free, low-cost shots offered for youths

The Clark County Health District offers free and low-cost immunizations for children ages 18 and younger.
The required childhood immunizations offered free of charge are: IPV (polio); DtaP (diphtheria, tetanus, pertussis); MMR (measles, mumps, rubella); Hib (H. influenza type b).
The district is also offering free and low-cost vaccinations for chickenpox, which will be required for public school entry starting in July 2003, and hepatitis A and B, which will be required in July 2002.
Chickenpox and hepatitis B vaccinations are available free to children ages 18 and younger. The hepatitis A vaccination is free to children ages 4 and younger. Children ages 5 and older can be vaccinated against hepatitis A for $15. Some children older than 5 may qualify for free vaccinations.
Childhood immunizations are available at all health district centers, Monday through Friday, from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. Here are locations:
