A franchisor of digital photo technology sued to stop a former Las Vegas franchisee from advertising its trademark on the Internet and using its proprietary information to promote its business.
Rick and Gayle Lewis doing business as Event Photo sued Gabor Viczko doing business as Shine Enterprises and Event Photo Las Vegas in Clark County District Court.
The suit alleged Viczko's franchisee status was terminated on May 15 after he was accused of unprofessional conduct and after he allegedly undercut Event Photo by offering to complete work for an Event Photo client for less than what Event Photo was contracted to be paid.
The defendant could not be reached for comment on the allegations.
