LAKE MEAD: Anglers using Sassy Shad lures continue to have success catching striped bass that are feeding on schools of threadfin shad at the Hemingway Wall.

Boaters are reporting good success for stripers at Gypsum Wash, Swallow and Boxcar coves.

Anglers using anchovies are having success catching channel catfish around Black Island averaging 3-3 1/2 pounds.

Largemouth bass fishing continues to be slow with few anglers finding success.

Fishing continues to be slow at Echo Bay for both boaters and shore anglers, while the Muddy and Virgin rivers saw a slight increase in fishing pressure and success for the anglers.

LAKE MOHAVE: Anglers who take to the water early in the mornings at Cottonwood Cove report that fishing has been fair for trout that average about 12 inches.

Fishing for stripers was good as anglers caught fish that weighed in at 12 pounds. The next stocking of rainbow trout is scheduled to take place Friday.
