Kim Lester hired as Rebels’ assistant

Kim Lester joins the UNLV volleyball program as the top coaching assistant, replacing former assistant Kevin Hambly.
Lester comes to the UNLV staff after spending the 2000 season as an assistant at Idaho State where the team went 9-21 overall and 4-12 in the Big Sky Conference.
Lester played volleyball at San Diego State from 1989-94. She earned her undergraduate degree in physical education from San Diego State in 1995 and later added a masters degree in education with a physical education emphasis from Azusa Pacific in 1998.
